being courage and playing with the strong temperoment is completely two different things. zampa doest have the temperoment.. you can see same thing happening for sanju samson. he can hit sixes but he doest have the quality of temperoment .
@@imranameer5243 The fact is that it is not true that you can do same thing you did with white ball while playing red ball. Zampa plays well in white ball but his records are not too much well in red ball. Probably his action instinct doesnot suit him as a red ball spinner. You can look at other leggies also like Rashid khan Chahal
When i was a kid , You are my first favourite player from Australia or you can count it as my first foreign player too.. I used to carry your pic on my notebook. I liked your bowling as well as hairstyle alot. Tons of love to you (Brett lee) from India ❤️🤍💙
I do think Todd Murphy is a great talent. very impressive especially the way he got Virat Kohli in Delhi 2nd innings, This is the first time in Virat Kohli's test career, Virat got stumped. Todd Looks very impressive
@@shravankumar3313 Not really, he got stumped because he was playing for turn but it was quite a straight cutter, similar sort of delivery which Ashwin's ball to steve smith in 1st innings.
@@RohitKumar-io3iy jalaj saxena can also fulfill the place he is having very good ranji record but not got selected in the team he deserves many more chances in both and test cricket i think
Lyon was a late bloomer as many spinners are. Give Murph some time and more tutoring from NL just as TJ did for SW. The Academies should have rigid succession plans for all types of bowling including spin and stick to them.
Sir in overall bench strength Aus. have no idea for spin bowling in test cricket.....then what should be happen in this case..... it's so confidential.....!!!!!
what about Zampa ? He has always bowled well against the INDIANS especially against Virat Kohli. He may be considered only as a T20 and 1 Day specialist but the fact is that he is a good spinner and knows the playing surfaces well in India. A known devil is always better than an unknown devil
This red ball and white ball is all bogus .... for a spinner it hardly makes a difference as the bowling action and the grip is the same only your strategy in the field changes and unless you are given a change how will you know if the person concerned can perform well or not ..... We are now getting T20 specialists to play test cricket like Pandya and Pant. You can argue that these cricketers have also played Ranji trophy so they are not T20 specialist , Similarly, Zampa has played Sheffield Shield , In fact he was extremely unhappy when not selected to tour India for the 4 test therefore he expected to be selected. All i am saying that the Australians are desperate now so what is the harm in calling him over for the nets... why did they select Agar who they will not play ..... since they now intend to play three spinners for the remaining two tests with Stark replacing the captain who has gone home, a genuine leg spinner who is an attacking bowler and wicket taker in a turning track and provides the necessary variation which could better. They cannot do worse so what's the harm in trying him out .
@@sugatoroy1254 problem is a lot of these t20 leg spinners will just get milked in a test match because they wont be good enough at building pressure, they take wickets in different ways than what is required for test matches. ashton agar is a good t20 off spinner but in the test matches he played he didn't look threatening at all and couldn't build pressure. it is possible that zampa could do well on turning tracks though i think it would be better playing our best off spinners in Indian conditions. i dont think you need attacking spin bowlers on turning tracks. you need spinners who can land the ball on the same spot and vary your speed and angles like Jadeja and Ashwin are so good at doing. obviously i have typed this after the series but i think the spin trio they sent on the tour did pretty well. it sets us up nicely when Lyon retires. Murphy will be the number 1 spinner and Kuhneman number 2 or maybe even Tanveer Sangha the leggie who is showing a lot of promise in domestic cricket and is also super young
Very early to say. If he performs well in the remaining two matches of BGT then I do hope a good chance in the future. Criteria : At least 2 five wicket hauls in the next 2 test matches. Plus another 4 fer or 5 fer against India in the World Chapionship Final if the pitch is Spinner friendly.
If jason creza got some more chances he would have played 100 above test matches for his country he got very less chances he should have been top most off spinner if suppose he got some chances the he dismissed vvs was very brilliant i missed his bowling really
nah dude, im Aussie Jason Krejza wasnt great. he did get a big amount of spin for a conventional off spinner but he was super inaccurate. he went at 4.5 economy in his 2 tests even though he got a lot of wickets. his Australian domestic bowling average is 50 and only ended up playing 54 first class games due to being dropped by his state.
@@liam3104 but getting only 2 chances how can we decide he will maintain the same economy as u told he played 54 first class games that experience would have been helped him rather in national side to perform with out giving minimum chances dropping doesn't matter i think brother jason creza is good bowler he is having caliber to take wickets when team needed
Bring Adam zampa in.... he is a courageous bowler.
I don't know why are they not letting him play
@@ziyanbhat320 he hismelf dont want to play test matches
