Pride is a crafty thing. My therapist, who is also Christian, once told me that pride is not just saying "I'm the best" it can also be prideful to say "I'm the worst". Do not despair, those who are struggling, your addictions, your shame and guilt are already laid before Him and He is faithful, full of grace, and quick to forgive, He knows your heart, do not give up, stay with Him!
Amen. He knows our hearts. How wicked it truly is. "If our hearts condemn us, He is greater than our hearts". That's why our salvation isn't based on how good or how bad we are. But Him. Salvation belongs to the Lord. His grace and mercy. I agree with what you shared. Pride is thinking we are the best. Yet pride and unbelief can also hide in despair, when we wallow in self pity and how much we failed God, like as if it's still up to us so we can be saved. It is false humility. All we can do is believe in the gospel. His death, burial and resurrection. Amen.

This teaching brought me to tears. How easy it is for us to reject the Lord’s truth because of our pride. I believe myself to be wise or claim to see but little do I know how little I really know. Thank you for reminding me to submit to The Lord and to Yeshua and His teachings. I honestly believe the Lord has been guiding me to His discipleship through your teachings. Each day I learn more about the Lord and His teachings which allows me to learn more about myself. Enabling me to examine my heart and mind honestly through Yeshua’s teachings. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for your wisdom. I miss seeing your tv show on Sunday's as I always knew what day, time, channel etc to block out from the rest of the world. At times I would miss due to work (yes on my Sabbath, at a nursing home, for the needs of people who rely on others to help them daily)... Now though, I need a link and reminder when you have a new video available to watch. God is working on my spirit and growth. I know I'm stubborn and need a greater openness with all the questions that never loomed before, I don't know where this skepticism is coming from i just know that it exists where, when it did Not before. I get frustrated with myself for my inability to find the answers. Lord please guide my heart and my mind to the truth in a way that i can understand. Please, and thank you Lord God Almighty, for Rabbi Schneider and his loving, supportive wife. They're a blessing to my life. Amen.

Please keep teaching about the oral traditions versus the written Torah. So many of us have never been taught these things and it makes it hard to understand. Since I learned about the Talmud, the words of Jesus have come a live. Thank you so much for this message.
What i know Talmud is most racist literature in the world that ever exists. Yah but it's not makes completely bad literature, there's some commentary from few Rebbe we need to know and learn to understand the Torah (Written Laws/Moses Laws).
@@stefanusgamingchannel7183 I’ve never read any of it. When I first became a Believer, almost 20 years ago, some of the scriptures seamed to contradict itself until I found out about the oral traditions.
@@nancygrogan6082 Most commentary and interpretation in Talmud contradict with Science laws. They are claimed that Talmud is from G-D/HaShem but why itself contradict with modern science knowledge, clearly weird and unacceptable. Literally Torah is not means Laws, Torah means Teaching (in hebrew), Yeshua his self often quoted the Torah in his teaching to all his disciplies. Even Rebbe Shaul (Paul Apostle) in his literature as part of New Testament/Brit Chadashah.
Yes, isn’t it wonderful? Matthew 5:18 For amen I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled.
@@nancygrogan6082 Well, most church doctrines in Christianity in the world believe that the law of love by Jesus has replaced the law (Torah) because the law is considered to be only the law from Moses for the Jews, even the old testament is no longer valid because it has been replaced by the new testament. This pattern of thinking is also adopted by Muslims around the world who consider their book the Koran (Quran) to have replaced/perfected the previous books, namely the old testament = Tanakh (including the Torah, zabur = psalms, haftarah = books of the prophets) and the new testament = Brit Chadashah (including Besorah = gospel/good news). Know that the truly good news (gospel) is not just the 4 books (Mark, Luke, John and Matthew), in the Old Testament it is also the Gospel, for example the good news for Moses was told by GOD/HaShem that his people would be brought out of slavery in Egypt and told that GOD/HaShem had provided where they live. Yeshua did not create new teachings/laws, all of his teachings came from the Tanakh = the old testament including the Torah with several updates (not erasing anything), because his job as savior was as promised and was the word of GOD/HaShem made flesh.
I had a teacher tell me years ago seeing is not necessarily believing, but believing is seeing. I’ve found that to be true. Read the Bible believing and he will let you see!

Jesus' declarations to the Pharisees in Matthew 23, "Woe to you, Pharisees. Hypocrites!" says all we need to know about how God viewed these false leaders, religious heretics, wolves in sheep's clothing. They were a a self-righteous, oppressive burden to the people of Israel. Very sad their spirit lives among the Jewish people of today, still teaching the man-made traditions of the Talmud, with many times more false commands now than existed in Jesus' day.
Tradition of the elders …. fact ….Definitely not doctrine. It’s the rule bound …cruel rules …which invoke punishment..rejection..even death ….certainly accusations … The accuser’s are the leaders ….
No criticism here! It amazes me how the Pharisees belive Moses eventhough they did not see Moses, but they see a miracle right before their eyes! And they are in disbelief! How much do we do it ad well!🎉🎉
Timely Word as always Rabbi. Thank you. I have a question regarding John 9:35 - my NKJV - says Son of God; my CJB says Son of Man; KJV says Son of God; NIV says Son of Man and I looked up the Geneva 1560 and it says Son of God. Can you please tell me what is the difference or why or does it make a difference? Thank you! Shalom!
Rabbi, great message. Think Jesus shows how God's plan is relatively simple, common sense, and with a soft-hearted spirit with those Sabbath confrontations with the Pharisees. To be fair, I believe that not all Jewish religious leaders were so picky and hard-hearted with the law. But still think might be a good lesson for all who wish to follow Jesus. Probably shouldn't just accept any religious orthodox commandments as God's rules without first thinking about how hard-hearted and needlessly picky they might be. It's easy to condemn the ancient Pharisees and yet not recognize today's version.

A PHARISEE might ask if having dinner out on Saturday before sundown causes someone else to sin. Is causing someone to sin wrong? Someone has to "work" to have meals on the Sabbath before sundown.
Jesus said it is Lawful to do good on the Sabbath, but secular work is to be put away during that time. So even those who may serve us at a restaurant do not know it's the Sabbath, we should not make them work for us. And remember Jesus said it's Lawful, so the Sabbath Law is for all@@Ann-ds2bm
Here's a view. But you have to make the final call on what makes sense given your view of God and his expectations. Question to answer is why command a day of rest from labor? Think it's because he wants us to have a day where we can contemplate, enjoy, and be thankful for his gift of life and his kingdom. I find it unbelievable that God is a picky micro manager that is waiting for us to make some possible technical mistake in the law. Is God going to frown on somebody who has to work on the official sabbath but acknowledges him and is thankful on another day off, yet praise the person who goes through all the acceptable motions but worships by voice only? Is the spirit behind God's Sabbath broken by occasionally going out to a restaurant and enjoying a meal, regardless what day it is? As long as you acknowledge God has provided this luxury and be grateful for food and service provided. And take steps to have other rest time to contemplate on all that God has given? The letter of the law or the spirit of the law?Only you can decide how best to fulfill God's wishes.
