also his sampling is something to note for sure, he samples lesser known metal bands, for example the sample at the end of crucifixion is a sample of a German 1 man black metal band grausamkeit and the sample on toothtaker is an Australian atmo bm band called woods of desolation

Not sure if you're interested in reviewing a semetary album again but I feel like he really took your advice, at least with the spacing out of distortion topic, on Screaming Forest. It's a bit clearer while retaining a lot of the stuff you mentioned you liked. The other guys he's brought on add a lot to the project too I think . You pretty much nailed most of why ive been listening to semetary and friends near exclusively for the last 2 weeks
Btw, a lot of sematary isn't on Spotify, only on youtube
sematary could go a lot harder than this. the bass muddies up the entire mix to make it more cloudy and less abrassive. i'm not complaining, i just think that it's noteworthy that this isn't some maxed out distorted trap album. it's just extremely hard to make an album like that sound as pleasing as this
