- Exploring George Air Force Base, doing a EVP reading and documenting the current condition of the hospital. As with any exploration, care is needed to not only protect you but the area as well. Please be respectful of any and all areas you explore now and in the future.
These places would be a lot more interesting if they weren't vandalized.
Missing from the list of things to bring is spray paints... yeah, plenty of spray paints. Vandalism is vandalism, no matter who, what, when, or where. Childish behavior by these criminals.
I was stationed there from Oct 73-Nov 74 and lived in base housing. The only good thing I can say about George is my son was born there.
So what did you think about the condition now? Would be cool to walk it with someone that stayed or worked there. Especially the hospital.
@@HOT-RODSVIDEOS Yeah, and since I live in Sin City it's only a couple of hours down the road. Have to get one of my kids to come with me to take pictures.
Clean it up and move the homeless there.
in 1969=71 I woked that little gate shack. I was a Security Police man Also manned the 'back gate shack' too.
I was there 1974 and 1975
i wonder is the real reason why they dont tear down the old buildings
The base (mostly the flightline) is a Superfund Site, contaminated with PCBs, PFAS chemicals, JP-4 jet fuel and other dangerous poisons. The government wants nothing to do with spending the money and time (decades probably) cleaning it up. So they just abandoned it, although the airfield is still in use by the Southern California Logistics folks. I was an E-5 in the emergency department for five years, 82 --87. Loved the high desert. Close to everything; L.A., Vegas, beaches, snow skiing, etc. I was in my twenties tho.
Awesome video
Boy George, you've got it !
I, Robot
Firstly, it's trespassing.
There's not a single fence, look at google maps. Went there not long ago.
