@@mogyver69 Hey man, Shane here again. Quick question, I'm interested in buying carb kits for my 96 polaris sl750. Can you point me in the right direction for who you use to supply the carb kits for your repairs? Greatly appreciate my friend, cheers..

@@shaner67 If you want good dependable kits go to wsm or shopsbt.com. Sometimes I will use eBay kits I just don’t use the needle, seats or springs from those kits. Those aftermarket kits will give you issues if you use the springs and needles and seats but the gaskets usually are OK

Hey I have a 1993 Polaris sl750. Plugs are black and the ski starts good and revs good but when it’s in the water it’s harder to start and it shuts off after giving little to no throttle. I don’t understand. Do u have any idea?

Carbs need adjusting maybe. Start by replacing plugs. Do a full throttle run then turn it off immediately and pull plugs and see if they look clean or rich. This will help you decide if you need to adjust the low speed screws or if you have a issue with high speed. Also be aware its a 2 stroke and they do not like to idle. They will foul plugs after idling for long periods of time. I usally have to change plugs 2 xs a season sometimes more.
