What I'd love as a huge Slime fan, is if we got a Musou game. Think about it, in the series they fight in wars a lot so I think a Musou game if done right could be amazing for Slime
I've personally been enjoying this game myself. Also, in the game, Predator does absorb the enemies that are defeated by it, and turns them into health for Rimuru. I think they did really well with the type of game, seeing what the show itself is like. The main focus of the anime is the world building and the town, with some fights here and there, so having a game where you build up the town to make your team stronger and tries to balance both town building and combat, I think is a perfect representation of the anime itself.

4:05 we get a lot every year in console/Steam but nobody covers them Also they should’ve added multiplayer especially since one of the dlc is a fighting game mode. Could’ve been a 2D “Tales Of” type of game that could be fun with friends. Regardless I like how it’s doing something different and I’ll support it despite it being ignored
this game is great and i really like this genre for a slime game actually, but the price feels very high ngl, is fun game with a nice original story and all of that Slime is my favorite piece of media tbh, i would prefer a musho tbh since all the important battles are basically one strong vs a hundred weak already, and since we already have a Gacha RPG and this game as a sidescroller, i think a Musho slime game would be fucking peak
I just wish they made a Slime game where we have our own character that get reincarnated as a monster and can evolve while interacting with Rimuru and co.
The game doesn't look bad but I think it would be much better and sell extremely well if the game took the same graphics and active combat systems as the tales of arise game did. I think it would be much better. Simply put, we're the main character Rimiru, the game is an open world game, we travel around making alliances with monsters and humans, explore, we obviously fight and consume certain enemies to transform into them during combat, we continue fighting enemies and level up and rank up the monster ladder as we go, we recruit professionals to build up the village and of course recruit the other main characters from the show as help during combat. Simply put, give it a good sized budget and use the same systems as the tales of arise game did and follow the show for the story line and overall missions of the game, plus side quests from allies and friends to gain their loyalty and help push them to being a family.
while i do think it's a good attempt what they did with this game (trying to mix visual novel and classic Tales Of system), that pricing is going to be the end of it, maybe if it was like 30.00$ or 25.99$ it would be more acceptable (don't forget that this game has DLC). also some enemies and characters do look weird though, rimuru and the ogre/goblin friends look nice but......Ranga has a weird head and body that looks like a bobble head with an elongated body and a huge head and the Giant Ant's eye look different from the anime (maybe it's because the spiral eye pupils are not emphasized compared to it's eye color, they look like they have normal eye pupils but yellow, rather than the spiraling eyes that make it look deranged).
It's $50 because Bandai price games at what the brand can get away with. For example: Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, awful game priced at $70. If JJK wasn't one of the biggest anime that game would've been cheaper without any changes to the game itself. Slime isn't as popular as jjk or kny so it's game is $50. If it were that popular, then it would be $70, even while being the same game.

The game isn't great, yes, but this is not a beat-em-up. They took the combat system from classic 2D Tales Of games and simplified it a bit. A beat-em-up implies you can mindlessly press anything to win and that only flies in the very beginning of the game(which I understand that is all you played) before they start throwing actual somewhat competent enemies at you that you have to use your brain for. Also, once again I know you didn't play past a couple hours to get there but the original story/characters they add for this game are shockingly engaging and slide in pretty well with the established lore. Also buildings do not technically increase your stats normally. You click one before going out on expeditions to get that minor stat boost until you come back.
I feel like they wanted to release way bigger game but were afraid if this game will be succesfull so they cutted whole estimated budget to like 30% and released it. Maybe in future if this isekai will be even more popular we will get Naruto storm treatment. . . . who knows.

Since it seems to be fully voice acted this game can get away with it, but too many games of this scale are 75% reading, 25% voice acting. Hopefully Slime gets another game at some point that's higher budget, and is an ARPG, because then I'll be over it. why not let us hear the quality of the voice acting!!! i tryed to listen, but you turned it down and just continued talking...
If the price was €10 I would have even considered buying it, but €50 for a game that has the quality and gameplay of a phone game is a scam.
Licenses cost money.
Got my vote for worst anime game of 2024
This look too cheap
Why wasn’t this a free game?😂
The fact that it cost 60$$$......🗿🗿🗿
Ngl this would have been better as a mobile game, seems like it has all the elements of a mobile game.
There is literally a noble for it already that’s does all of this
Moblie*
No dub naaaahhhhh this shit has to be free and almost delisted for me to even try adding to my library 💀 I can play a sub anime game but when the main character is voiced by one of my favourite Dub voice actresses Brittney Karbowski who voiced The Going Merry. I will never listen to the sub ever. Also game looks poopy for $50 a normal price should be $15 or $19.99
Why are all anime games so bad lol, even the 'better ones" are still pretty bad
Because not enough people are supporting the current games to get “better” devs interested in picking up anime games
23 likes after 1 minute, Bro fell off💀
Please shut up.
Cringe anime cringe game, checks out perfectly
If you really think that about the anime you are an idiot.
