    I like the idea of a 2 week itinerary but I would totally love to tour that gigantic cave. And Da Lat looks like so much fun. I love that you went back a year later. You must have really enjoyed the country.

      I hope you have the best time! Please take into account that Sept is the end of typhoon season so keep an eye on the weather before you book an activity

      @@travelsfromyesterday thanks for that! Just curious, are there overnight tour boats that only advertise locally in Cat Ba? Wondering if any cost savings if we would decide not prebooking?

      @@tedshoemaker4102 Our friend is a tour guide in Vietnam, he said that you'll get the cheapest price on overnight tours if you reach out ahead of time. He said to message them and see if they'll offer a deal. In person, the price will be set in stone

    Love this. I would say South to North > North to South. Also don't skip Sa Pa, it was one of my absolute favourite parts of my trip!

    Is that $50 per person or per couple?

    • @travelsfromyesterday
      @travelsfromyesterday  15 днів тому +1

      Per person, but take off $5 per day if you're traveling as a couple. We were able to find hotel/hostel rooms everywhere for $15-20 per night

    The best advice you gave was the sleeper bus number code. Other than that some of your comments about the country felt disrespectful. I live in Vietnam. It’s a wonderful country and the people are kind. Please be respectful of all cultures

    I strongly suggest changing your thumbnail if you want to come back. The reunification of the country is still relatively new, censorship is very serious when it comes to changing the look of the flag/country
