listen i am a 1975 fan but I get it like everyone has their own opinions, if i saw a tweet slagging them off i’d scroll past. no point wasting valuable time hating on someone’s opinion.

Thanks Stevie for actually talking about stan culture being toxic! It's beyond me how people think stanning is a good thing. It's obsessive, unhealthy and has led people to suicide in the past.
TL;DR, I have a rant about how much I dislike when UA-camrs appeal for subscribers by quoting their analytics.
Raid: Shadow Legends I'm fine with. Yes, it's oversaturated as an ad spot but that's not the individual's fault.
My pet peeve at the moment is this new trend of saying, "I've looked at my analytics and X% of you watching this video right now are not subscribed!"
I'm not daft. I know how this system works! If I want to subscribe, I will. It's not as if the concept of subscribing is completely lost on me. In fact, if I'm not subscribed it's probably for a good reason. I've been a viewer on the platform for over a decade and I find that pitch condescending. Similar to the idea that we don't need to know how many times a particular shot has been recorded, hearing details about the back end of your channel is only disrupting the flow of the video. The vast majority of the time I've subscribed already anyway. It feels like such a weak ask as well. I'm a viewer, I don't care about your conversion rates nearly as much as you do. Make content I want to subscribe to rather than making an appeal at the start of the video that delays the delivery of that content.
I haven't had a place to put those thoughts down before but it's been bugging me for a while now. This video seemed like an appropriate place based on the title.

No. Fuck off. How can I decide whether I like the video if you haven’t started it yet? I’m actually way more likely to turn off if people do that.
And stop saying guys all the time.
But I agree with the point about the bloggers- my wife watches one of the beauty ones and she’s recently had a kid, and while pregnant she said in EVERY video “as you guys know, I’m pregnant” and it was always said in such a way that getting pregnant is something rare and that only happens to a select few. News flash- it doesn’t.

One thing that bugs me that UA-camrs do is when you’ll have a vlogger that keeps referencing something big that’s going to happen at the end of the video and they keep alluding to the fact this big things going to be announced being all secretive about it and then go and name the video “OMG WE BOUGHT A DOG!!”
The thing I hate most about youtube is the thumb nail pictures. So many images of people with their mouth wide open and arrows pointing to silhouetted objects.
