Hi tried this method but it always says " Im on the latest official version" using the latest hisuite and hisuite proxy. I'm on EMUI 10 and using EML-L29 P20 by the way.

while this video seems helpful, I had to go to CC because the ridiculous music is not only too loud, but also making the mic duck, and there is some talking in the background that is getting compressed to the point of incomprehension. This, coupled with the heavy accent just works against the speaker. YOU DON'T NEED MUSIC.
CLT-L29 P20 Pro (SPCSEAS C636) Version doesn't have EMUI12 so I choose MEAFNAF and HISUITE said it's update failed so I think I stuck at EMUI 10 now

@@aderito_muffins international version doesnt support officially above android 8. and i was trying to update it to any newer, but different region code.

The last stage says that my android EMUI 8.1 is up to date. I can't get any of the region versions to update the phone. It setups perfectly in HiSuite Proxy. What is going on ? I do get a message that ' A compatible version of HiSuite will be installed on your phone ' i have no choice but to accept before I can use HiSuite Proxy 11.0.0.650

@@ruimoreira1996 download via off-line Firmware. To download firmware via off-line you should go to hisuite Proxy and see the small window, then copy the links of cust, preload and base this links available in small window of hisuite Proxy. And download via chrome, IDM or other, after the download finish you copy the cust, preload and base to C:/Documents/Hisuite/ROM/ and put in respective folder.
@@aderito_muffins the problem is that both Rui and I have already done it all right, the problem is when we update via hi suite it barely starts to transfer it reaches a percentage of for example 46% the application itself says it lost the connection

Unfortunately, when you switch to a whole different region of your phone it get rid of the certification and also the model number will be mismatched with the software/hardware, could cause serious problems.

I have a problem. My device model is CLT-L29 from Europe, but the OS system installed is CLT-AL00 Emui 10.0.171. So no one rom is working... Any idea?
I fixed it with hisuite 10.1.0.550. on emui 10.0.0.201now will try update to emui 12
How did you install the CTL-AL00 model rom?
@@aderito_muffins Long time ago i followed another tutorial. Now i have Emui 12 EU rom again. Just need to use a older compatible hisuite version and the proper rom. Hisuite proxy have rom checker so i think there is any risk.
Changing from China to EU need to hardreset the phone, otherwise will loop in Huawei logo until you delete all in eRecovery
