There should be great walkthroughs like this for every song in your sets. There are hardly any of the first packs in particular. It would be so great if you would do this from time to time for all other Patches
Yes the early demos were done back in 2018 back when I didn’t even have a proper camera and audio setup. All the sound packs do have performance notes included that detail and describe the setups of each of the sounds. The performances are setup logically according to the sequence of sounds that are played in the original recordings of the song. For as long as people have learned the originals then the setups should make sense. I do plan to revisit the sounds from Sets 1-7 and see which ones need walkthroughs.
Hey Narf, couple questions...first, another stellar job on set 12! Did you use your Prophet 5 for the bassline on this? Second, I finally decided after 2 years of ownership to download & install all the DX7 & DX7 II banks into my MODX7. I noticed a name very similar to yours about 15 years ago. Just wondering if it was you back then. Anyways, still keep Never let Me Down by DM on your future list! Thx
