I swear your reactions are just like me. I work with drug addicts and the mentally ill(dual diagnosis clinician), which made rap fall into my lap. Many youth, my kids included come to me with many rap artists as they relate to it......REN is THE most precise, articulate and passionate artist I've heard EVER. I believe everything happens for a reason, even Rens health issues have brought him to us...in this authentic way. Cheers for all the exposure you're given him, it will come back to you. When I heard the 'flow could turn an atheist into a beliver' bar, the first thing I though of was how - until discovering Ren a month or so back - I'd had ZERO interest in 'rap' or 'hip hop' or any of that my whole 60+ years. It's WAY different now. Ren turned me from a hip hop athiest into a believer, hahaha. -But like all things Ren, I bet it hits everyone in their own way.
