In my opinion, Erica will easily forget, forgive or mend things if only Laycon tries to reach out as just friends. On the other hand, Laycon is in a tight spot because what he wanted from Erica was not friendship but a relationship.. that he may never get. He had that situation to deal with because Kiddwaya was in the picture. Therefore, Laycon is laid back holding his emotions in pain...because it a lose lose situation for him. And as a result he channels all his energy into is music career and hopes to find happiness again in a woman he loves and who would truly accept and reciprocate same affection towards him. Until then, he'll remain calm and bottle up his emotions.
