I find it funny how connor gets the enlightened ending and then talks to someone who knows the game in and out to get the next ending. He even says "I'd give anything to not know everything" Truly a tortured, enlightened soul
He speaks so fast and his accent is so strong that I have a bit of a hard time understanding him, but honestly to me, it just elevates the funniness. Guy got jokes and I love him for it

And even if money doesent bring happiness, at least it will help you be misreble in comfort. - Helen Gurley Brown Edit: outlander ending is also pretty epic, it's by far the most heroic ending of the bunch. He sees the world for the Sh*t it is and dedicates his mind and body to eradicating whatever is tainting it. That's a hero.
Considering the supernatural nature of nearly all the horrors found within The Dungeons of Fear and Hunger, it might not even be PTSD/Paronia, it might litteral be a curse/haunting/mark placed on him.
There's also theories that Cahara's ending is all a dying dream that TGoFaH gave to him after he helps ascend her and she emphatizes with him, since Cahara's ending is the only one with seemingly zero reference to it in Termina.

Unlike Enki who wrote the most detailed and important books on the gods. D'Arce revived Le'guard, who is now Kaiser. Ragnavalder became the God of Ultraviolence and killed monsters and seems to have sired a family to carry on that legacy.

Cahara going unmentioned makes sense if he died an unremarkable and forgotten death after emphatizing with the ascended girl, whereas if he had survived we probably would have gotten at least SOME mention of a random nobody suddenly becoming rich overnight a couple hundred years back.
And then frapollo being in awe Conner got as far as he did without using the soul armor/stones because Connor didn’t know how to use them was hilarious
The people that played through this game to this level of game logic understanding and discovered the process to get any of these "S" grade endings is probably one of the top 1% most stubborn and greatest riddlers in the world.

I love that Connor did such good voice overs for Francóis's dialogue in post, just to skip through it every single time in game. It kills me every time he gets interrupted 😭
From admitting on the podcast that he doesn't bother with New Game+ material to redoing Fear and Hunger 4-5 times for all the endings Connor has definitely gotten the character development he needed
He should play Armored Core 6 as that game has tons of new content behind New Game + and New Game ++, but without being as long nor hard compared to Fear and Hunger.
The editing is so good in this one, not to mention this is probably a 16-hour long stream and to be able to condense it to one and a half hour is nutty.
Fear and Hunger, being the way that it is, is essentially just begging players like Connor to 100% it, though it won't pull any punches along the way. Frapollo is a real homie. Just like the Mcs part in the birth of a new God, his help was essential.

And Connor's tenacity had proven the fact that can be done without it ☠️ Bro's grinding so hard in Fear and Hunger. Though I did most of my runs manually, with the exception of D'arce (since I gave up on how to get her to end the game for S or for the E). Honestly, keep up the fortitude, Connor, you really went and cooked (except for the coin flips).
Frap is a sweet guy, it's cool to see him hanging out with Connor. I used to watch his F&H challenge run streams. Maybe he can bring Frap back when Termina brings out S rank endings

yeah the leg sweep skill is one of the most efficient ways to play the game with darce and beat it in under 20 miniutes because the only things you need to do is find him under 20 minutes and leave and you can get leg sweep really fast and just bash open all the doors and dip
Yeah, the sequel shows that essentially all the endings were canon except for his. Being forgotten, he was most likely the one to lead the girl to her destiny and create the God of Fear and Hunger who seems to be the most worshiped and influential deity of that age. But we can take solace in that she is essentially his legacy. Her suffering tempered by the kindness and care he showed her, helped turn her into the equivalent of an Old God who (compared to the past old gods) actually understood humanity and was understood by humanity, one based on experiencing and overcoming fear and hunger to progress forward. Most of all, I'm just happy she totally upstaged her father in every manner possible. No matter how much he tries, the girl he discarded and gave little to no regard to will achieve everything he hoped to be and do no matter how much he succeeds. She rendered him defunct and all his current and future actions irrelevant. He will forever be trapped in the same fate as the new gods from the 1st game.
I think it's better that way. In his S ending he spent the rest of his days living in constant fear, whether in the A ending he dies peacefully. Besides, the dev said all the endings are canon in a way (or so I read)

yeah the leg sweep skill is one of the most efficient ways to play the game with darce and beat it in under 20 miniutes because the only things you need to do is find him under 20 minutes and leave and you can get leg sweep really fast and just bash open all the doors and dip

Yeah, the sequel shows that essentially all the endings were canon except for his. Being forgotten, he was most likely the one to lead the girl to her destiny and create the God of Fear and Hunger who seems to be the most worshiped and influential deity of that age. But we can take solace in that she is essentially his legacy. Her suffering tempered by the kindness and care he showed her, helped turn her into the equivalent of an Old God who (compared to the past old gods) actually understood humanity and was understood by humanity, one based on experiencing and overcoming fear and hunger to progress forward.
Most of all, I'm just happy she totally upstaged her father in every manner possible. No matter how much he tries, the girl he discarded and gave little to no regard to will achieve everything he hoped to be and do no matter how much he succeeds. She rendered him defunct and all his current and future actions irrelevant. He will forever be trapped in the same fate as the new gods from the 1st game.
I think it's better that way. In his S ending he spent the rest of his days living in constant fear, whether in the A ending he dies peacefully. Besides, the dev said all the endings are canon in a way (or so I read)

Literally every second I was so worried that the game would crash on the really, really long runs. RPG Maker is such a messy engine and it is impressive what people can do with it.
