- Alright guys decided to head back up to this little river by my families property, we fished it earlier this year and had never fished it in the heart of summer!! Fishing ended up being a little tough but the trip over all was a blast!!!

Beautiful float so far, man that chicken and dumplings looks fantastic I'm so hungry right now and it's only 6:30 in the morning right now. And any fish is a good fish when it comes to smallmouth, that's one of my favorite best catch but I haven't caught rock bass or spots yet or coosa bass or any of the other species outside of largemouth and smallmouth

I’m impressed with that hobie paddle. You’ve put it through the wringer. I have the same one and it feels dainty. Good to know it’s pretty tough. I am surprised though that crescent hasn’t sent you a matching paddle. Looking at you #crescentkayaks ;)

That is a place I been wanting to try out. I have a old town pdl. If the peddle drive is up do you think it would be ok in that current? I hadn't had it in much current 🤔.
Do you have the 106 or 120? I still think either would be ok...John who I'm fishing with in the video has both of the old town pdls the 10ft and 12 and he takes those things everywhere!!

@@Southernkayakfishing1 do those have like a block off plate to put in place where the drive would go say if you didn't want to use it for the day?
