Even in Nigeria there are plenty of pyramid schemes like this I was part of one called century 21 freedom group. had me stressed out calling my downlines multiple times I left just losing 500 naira.
I got sucked into IML in 2020 but after the first two weeks i knew it was bullshit cuz i knew more about trading than my own "professors" and their "harmonic scanner" algorithm was complete garbage !!!! The only forex teacher you need is my mentor ICT aka the Inner Circle Trader, and its free on youtube 750hrs of content. Now my hit rate is 90% and average 5 figs a week. Bro I was in the same pyramid scheme... IML Academy got me when I was teaching a coworker how to do some specific tasks and he kind of convinced me of the idea right then and there. Got out with probably 2k lost and absolutely no benefit on my behalf. They are good at playing their game, though. You literally join a video call where the upline of your own upline is seemingly explaining a massive trade (for show!!) and then turns to you and gives you his attention just giving very inspring talks and all that stuff. Stay out, believe me!

I can relate, I also fell for a pyramid scheme when I was that age and got a job for the first time, I was like damn there's these kids out here my age already buying a super car and I'm here working 8 hours a day everyday for minimum wage, unfortunately most of these courses, like 90% of them on the internet are just scams and the only one getting rich is the guy behind the course

It's so crazy I knew it was a scheme cus I saw everything online with that guy that explores them everything from the ceremonious clapping and music down to the awards every meeting and clueless people clapping everyday it was crazy I only went 2 times cus it was a friend that was recruiting just for giggles but then he really thought I was that silly and a knob I told him I was busy when he invited me 3rd time, it was just some crooks with fake PhD teaching common sense ina big hall of rented hotel room , they keep info of who recruited you when you enter and it felt bad to look at your friends eye and he treats you like a customer bro you literally begged me to be here on telegram now you trying to look at me as a product or good for selling shame on you

Yeah I got sucked in to one of those forex mlm's too. This was Tradera, worked the same way. Lucky I stuck to my guns and said to the guy that recruited me that I was only interested on the forex side of things. I paid the 30usd for the first month and left at the end of the month. 2 months late and the whole thing collapsed and people lost a ton of money.
