Bamboo dome (part 1 the model) & enjoy the silence

I originally made this about five or six years ago but had forgotten to upload it and share it.
I’m using a paper craft type ribbon (flexible and easy to use) that is used for basketmaking in lieu of traditional cane or bamboo which I find is a little difficult to work with as modelling material in this tight little model. Enjoy and experiment and I hope this is useful to someone.

I`m guessing the length of your pieces is half the circumference?

ARE all the lengths the same if not is there a formula ? I want to make a 20 ft wide dome

jar jar binks, yes you have made the correct assumption. The idea is, the dome is scalable depending on application and/or needs.

light bearer, yes equal lengths, are you able to view the captions - I deliberately left sound out.
