Beautiful! I’m new so have a question- are you sticking the first papers down with clear gesso or matte gel medium? Also when the work is done do you have to seal it with something so it doesn’t smudge? Thank you so much - really enjoyed your video!
Thank you so much 🌸Some clear gesso works as glue but some don’t so preferably gel medium. Acrylics don’t smudge, they dry permanent but the pages can get sticky. Other mediums like charcoal or soft pastels smudge and there are products like sprays to use for sealing the page. I’m not that fussy about that and maybe a bit lazy and rarely seal anything 🤷♀️

Ok, let me rephrase the question. Why do you feel the need for that kind of information? In what way would that add to your experience?
So I would know what to buy. I am new at this and don't know what to use
I will try to show more materials but you will find a supply list on most of my videos in the description box below the video. If you are unsure which supply is which I’m more than happy to help you with that. Leave a comment and at what time in the video I’m using it and I will get back to you. The reason I don’t hold it up to the camera is first that I’m using my iPhone to record and I can’t check the video frame while I’m recording. Second I get all caught up and forget. I hope you will enjoy my videos anyway ☺️💗
Hi, are you using the campus matte gel medium as a matte glue ?
Yes, I am. Any matte gel medium works as a glue.
@@JessonArt ok! Thanks for your answer 🌞 why do you use matte gel as a glue ? And not Bindex or PVA glue ?
I think matte gel is more art quality and archival but I really don’t know because I have never looked into the subject. I guess you could use Pva glue if you want, I never heard about Bindex, but if you want your work to be archival you should do some research first.

Bindex is an acrylic binder, used to make paint with pigments, and is also used for collages as a glue because it's transparent. 😉
