"I'm a high-school dropout man. With a hip-hop education, and these were my teachers."
This is their night as much as it mine
🙌🏼🙌🏼🐐🐐
“I’m a high school drop out with a HipHop education and these were my teachers” C’mon, Em has BARS even in his speech!🤭
🐐👑🌹
I adore ur Em reactions!🫶
Thank you!
Lol bars!
finally he gets the recognition he totally deserve
But unfortunately no matter how many awards he wins or records he breaks he’s still gonna get undeserved hatred 🙄 So proud of our boy 🥰❤️
@@blackfairyxdusy you ain't lying lol
50 and he can still do rap god.... LIVE
Lionel Richie had me dead 🤣🤣🤣😭😭
😂😂 "what song is this?? 🤔"
😂😂😂
You should have reacted to Dr Dres speech at first, but nice😊❤️
Personally every time i hear people say bad things about eminem aeound me i tell them about the empact his music has had on my life and i know that there are others out there with similar storys. So many Eminem songs have helped me at different times. Back years ago I hit rock bottom when my daughter passed away and I feel hard into pills and alcohol and there was no one around me to help for what ever reason I turned on the radio and at that moment eminems song not afraid came on I listened to it and it hit me so hard that I kept listening to it that song is the only reason I am alive today.
There you are! I was just re-watching your "Raw"-reaction and now this - yeehaw.
He so deserves this. SO MUCH. I'm also a little giddy that I saw Pink in the crowd. I'm really fangirlishly happy that the two are pals.
And goddamn... Just so happy about the whole show. It was absolutely fantastic. (I saw it earlier on another channel, filmed from the back so it wasn't in HD but it was still dope !)
Sorry that I'm not on your other videos so much, but it's not really my kind of music. I always appreciate you, though!
Oh that's all good frizz! Ik when I post shady you'll be here!! Lol appreciate you!!
And I'll definitely watch Aerosmith reactions!
As to your question who could be mad at him: well, naggy minds would say "Oh, he just says that because he wants people to believe that he's all this humble, it's all PR blablablabla". There will be idiots who say this shit because the world is full of idiots! Hell, there are people out there who actually believe Eminem died in 2007 and this is just a clone. Idiots, the lot of them.
Couldn't name a favorite song or verse, honestly. There are so many. I'm more the "telling a story"-type of listener, so the bar-heavy songs that are just fun for him playing around are not so much my shit. I have a bit of a leaning towards songs that tell stories about toxic relationships - he does them so well!
Favorite guest-verse might therefore be the one with Jessie Reyez on Coffin. He's really good in combination with female artists.
Don't have a favorite album. I'm a mix-and-match listener, I just pick what I like wherever it was on. I do have a soft spot for MMLP2.
First song I listened to.... hmmmm. I think it was "My name is", though I didn't like it much so I just saw it on MTV and switched to something else. First song that made me really aware was "Cleaning out my closet" and I was fascinated by the story and also the video. Eminem digging a grave while crying in the rain? Great image, really stuck with me. I think this together with "Sing for the moment" are the first Eminem songs I put on my playlist back in Uni. (On CD! I burned them on CD, lol) And that was before I actually *got what Hiphop is all about.
they cut some stuff from his speech. which is a same. i would suggest that you look up his speech that people recorded. its a shame they tried to make him too perfect, and he was much more human in the original. and funny too.
Yes, I don't know why they did that.
I actually teared up ….he’s sooooo deserving …..he is impact +
I’m a 71 year old admirer and fan. Em hooked me when I saw Eight Mile. Holy crap- what brilliance! The vocabulary, rhythm, rhymes inside rhymes, understanding of human frailties- I’m happy for him. One of my fave rap groups was Digable Planets because they rapped to jazz!
Nice react!
It's good that Eminem is getting his flowers, I was in middle school when Marshall Mathers lp dropped, you look like you're the same age so you probably saw how crazy it was to hear this guy come out. And without Eminem I wouldn't know other legends
Facts!!
@ToneyReactions it's so weird when people like Charlemagne are still given a platform when their opinions are so left field, like saying Eminem is a guest.
This , giving homage to queen Latifah and 2 live crew is what a guest knows about? Come on. It's so insane I wish I had the craft in my industry, shit
Respect.. 💐 💐 💐 To the Greatest 👑 🐐.. 🤘🏻
Appreciate shady’s sense of humour! I love watching the behind the scenes of his videos coz you get to see him having fun, smiling and on the odd occasion laughing 🤣🤣 he is so serious in the public eye now that I enjoy watching those 👌🏼
Song wise I love Darkness. So sad but the message behind it is real and I love when shady is in story telling mode ♥️
That one caught me off guard!!
I loved your reaction to the whole thing Toney loved it 🐐🐐💙💙👏👏👍👏
You couldn't have said it better this man really deserves all the acolades he achieved and still humble we love you em
I got "hooked" on Em with Chronic 2001...travelling to Security Forces school.
It must be 25 years after your first album drops to be eligible for the rock n roll hall of fame. He made it 26 years later. Well deserved 👏. We need more hip hop artists inducted now.
Ooooooh I wasn't aware if that! So he pretty much made it right away!
@@ToneyReactions I was surprised. It's really unheard of, But well deserved. I love many hip-hop artists but to say Eminem didn't make a huge impact on the culture is just so wrong on many levels. He is extremely humble and always shows love and respect 🙏
Yes, got inducted in his first year of eligibilty! He totally deserves it!
I'm glad because they feed me the fuel I need for the fire I'm burning and I've returned
I love watching you Toney I feel the same as you he deserves this 👍🐐👏👏👏
The Goat🔥🔥🔥
Spotify now has an official playlist of all the artists Em mentioned. Exposing more people to hiphop history. 🤩
The GOAT!!!
Hell yeah!!
He took his time on his night to shout out the ones that helped teach him about the genre, culture. Yet people talk nonsense !!! Gets old hearing it man.
Dre’s speech and the video following was good too. I hope you get to watch that too 😍
On another note are you ok health wise? I was trying to figure out if your unwell. Or if I’m projecting coz I’m stuck at home recovering from covid 🤣🤣😭😭
I heard that I need to listen to that! And you're definitely projecting 😂😂😂... However I have been tired as hell lol working like crazy
@@ToneyReactions hahahaha sounds like you need to take a break then or a holiday 👌🏼
Well, the MGK dresses better bar has not aged well 😂
Lmao right
Should have reacted to the full ceremony with Dre's speech that was the best part.
I was about to say the same thing 🙌🏼
Man..dont even talk about the man dying! lol I'd like to see him drop 1 more album at least! lol. You've go to watch Dre's speech to! It was great! I was surprised it wasnt included. They cut out part of Eminem's speech on this clip! Wtf!
Eminem doing a medley was so unexpected! He basically did a concert! Dre's speech was great! But Eminems speech took the biggest piece of humble pie! Only artistic genius I know that spent the greater portion of his speech thanking those that came before him and in alphabetical order!!! "It took a genre and a culture to raise me"! I've watched it a few times now and it still gets to me...🥺 So awesome that LL Cool J gave Eminem his necklace! I know I'm lucky to have been here for Eminems entire journey and I look forward to what he will do next! 🐐 Thank you Toney....for being you! ❤
Noone can do what Em does and what he did. He's amazing! I am 64 and i listen to him in the car, in gym etc. He deserves to be on a pedestal especially where he came from and what his accomplishments have been❤❤❤
"Because as long as I am Shady, you're going to live in my shadow!"
And that is a damn long shadow folks. For any artist to follow......he is one of the ones whose shoulders are being stood on. REAL folks, and true fans of the magic of Hip-Hop and rap know he is one of the best lyrical spitters on this earth.
And the honor he pays to the genre in his speech. People I had almost forgotten about, or had not heard from in so long. He knows them.
The honor paid in having Steven Tyler there to sing his masterpiece's hook......a literal ROCK GOD.
I just thought to myself........The legendary Dolly Parton is here tonight being honored as well. Imagine that beautiful angelic voice on a similar style song to Stan with Eminem.
We just need to ignore all the haters!! Maybe they’ll disappear. He deserves this recognition!! I’m just happy 2 of my favorite bands have been inducted, Metallica and now Eminem🤘🏻🤘🏻Hell Yeah!!
Seeing Judas Priest rocking out to Eminem was 😎. Metal Fans and Rap Fans seem to have this great vibe with each other's music, which makes me happy as a fan of both!
Ok, came over from your Taylor Swift reactions and I have to tell you in her 1989 Tour she performs with not only Mary J. Blige but also Stephen Tyler.
Here’s the deal… when Eminem came out and zi was a young MTV kid i was like whatever… NOWi have finally given this well deserved man a chance… bc he is a Man… he survived it all.., and he is as brilliant as others always said…. took me decades to get it….
My favourite reaction so far ❤ love your energy. Em lives and breathes hip hop, he loves it more than life and always respects the culture. He was just a poor white kid that happened to be born and lived in the culture not like other white rappers that cross over from rock and roll and didn’t grow up in this. Thanks gor keeping it 💯 😊
Hey buddy, I’ve watched all your em vids two times over now. I watch Stevie and Knox and all the others. Just wanna say I love your energy. I love watching you get hype lol. Keep ‘em coming bro.
Daaaaaamn appreciate you bro!! 💯💪🏽
Eminem has so many songs that are super fast having a concert with all of them must be impossible he would never have a chance to breathe lol
Pink nails 😂🤣😭👍
Shots fired lol
It's about damn time he gets recognized!!! Fan of Em's since day 1 & I've waited for that day since hearing his first album!! 50 years old & still doing Rap God........nuff said!!!🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
Em has the chain on that LL cool j gave him 🐐🐐👏👏💙💙
Did they ever make a Hip-Hop Hall of Fame.
The most savage thing to this is em 50 years old killing rap god and forever 🔥👑🐐
*Rumor on the street is Vanilla Ice is Eminem's ghostwriter.*
Boy stop! Lmao
@@ToneyReactions lol
