Hi, It depends on your journey date.. I am guiding you for the normal dates (except rest 5 shahi snan dates). 1. You can go to Prayagraj via Varanasi. (You can check out my old video. I have shown the rpad condition part by part: ua-cam.com/video/FH9pOJfR5Xc/v-deo.html ) 2. If you already watch the video, you have already seen the latest road conditions from Varanasi to Prayagraj. 3. If you want hassle free journey, you can park your car near 54 feet Hanumanji Mandir and take local vehicels (auto/toto) for the rest 2 kms. 4. If you want to stay there, i am publishing my next video within max 2 days. You'll get detailed information there. 5. My suggestion will be if you go there with your family, stay at Jhunsi (you'll get good hotels). And on the next day take local vehicle and go to Sangam, take holy bath and roam as much as you can and go back to the hotel). 6. If you want to stay near the Sangam area, you can watch my next video.
Thanks for your feedback. I was thinking, should I go directly to varanasi from kolkata. Stay at varanasi for a night. Next day early morning go to prayagraj in my own car . Take bath and return back on the same day. Need your suggestion on this. Will this work out
@bimalchowdhury1785 you can do so as well. But It will take almost 3 hours excluding traffic jam. For traffic jam, you should count at least 2 hours. You should count 2 hours in Kumbh Mela. So total expected time for the whole day = 6 + 2 + 2 = 10 hrs.. You can return Varanasi within 10 - 12 hours.

Which road condition is better,, via Dhanbad (NH 19) OR via Rachi
Via Ranchi is far better but you have to drive 150 km extra.
