- Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted a video but I just received wave one of the Black Series The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary 6 inch action figures, so I thought I'd give you a closer look. Enjoy!

Excellent! Nice to hear you are well. I love the ESB 40th Anniversary figures. Even though they are repacks they look great on those vintage style cards. I was lucky enough to find Bespin Luke early, and I recently picked up the AT-AT Driver. Looking forward to getting Han and Leia too. I really hope we get a Hoth Luke and Han in this line to go with Leia , unfortunately it's not likely, but I am still hoping. Excellent video, stay safe my friend.
Hi Dave, it's great to get some Black Series figures on vintage cards indeed, Hoth Luke and Han would've been brilliant, THAT'S MONEY YOU'VE LEFT ON THE TABLE HASBLO! I owe you a couple of figures so if you get stuck finding Han and Leia let me know (but they're selling quickly). Stay safe!
Hi Nick, its so good to see you back, i hope your keeping very well my friend.I am still recovering from my accident and with us being in lockdown treatment and physiotherapy has been put on hold but im feeling fine. I just received the exact box of wave 1 of the 40TH Anniversary figures just the other day. I love the card backs, like you i think they are worth a pick up just for the cards but it would of been nice to have some never figures in the 1st wave. I have just got shipping confirmation of wave 2 and the Probe Droid so i should have them very soon, which i am very much looking forward to seeing the new figures in wave 2.I also have the Hot Toys Director Krennic arriving soon so have plenty of new plastic goodness to keep me going. Hi Graham, great to hear you are still mending well from the accident and it's good to hear you've received some new toys to help keep you occupied haha. Nice work on scoring wave 2 and the Probe droid, very cool, I'm trying to source them for the business without luck so far, and great news on the Hot Toys Krennic, I've put my Hot Toys purchases on hold as I'm plowing all spare cash into the business. Glad your safe..and employed..if i see any of this wave on the pegs I might pick them up..especially Han and Leia..that Luke card looks weird..personally I prefer the original blurry shots..when does the second wave come out?..some awesome ones in there..gotta say your cards look super clean..great review..cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻

I am glad everything is OK with you and family my brother :D man that series hasn't even showed up on my Walmart, also no retro collection or even the mandalorian tvx figures :( times are tough, stay strong and stay safe my friend

The Yoda looks amazing🔥 love the card . I don't collect black series anymore because the price range it is way outta my league I'm just sticking with 3.75 but if a black series figure stands out to me I will definitely pick it up. great to hear from you mate 👍. I think HASBRO is trying to sabotage the vintage collection 3.75 inch figures! Why would they make all re-issued figures in a whole set? Why not just re-issue one in a new set,and have the others all new to keep the interest in the wave going? And every wave so on with one re-issue figure with the new face scan? It makes no sense from a business stand point! It would explain why they got rid of it last time for awhile! They did the same thing with the Marvel Universe 3.75 inch figures,in favor of the 6.inch Marvel figures! You can't get the Marvel 3.75 inch figures in the stores or anywhere anymore!
I think they just want the retro collection,and the 6.inch Black Series!
3 3/4 inch is my gear, but I can only collect what Hasbro puts out, and I'm well aware of their bias
This is MY favorite Leia and the Han Solo is good, but the rest of it is SHIT...but ya can't go wrong with a nicely detailed A.T.- S.T Driver.
Each to their own. I prefer the Bespin Leia myself and I agree with you about Han. I wouldn't say the other figures are shit, especially Luke with the new head sculpt, but I would have preferred new figures than repacked AT-AT driver and Yoda for sure.
