The Takam 2 Dance Demonstration, Renaissance Center.

One of our LIGHTS ON AFTERSCHOOL EVENT performances by The Takam 2 Dance, Renaissance Center. The Montgomery County Collaboration Council, thanks to funding from the Maryland State Department of Education' s 21st Century Community Learning Center program, is bringing the African Art, Culture and Education Academy to first through fifth graders living at Essex House in Takoma Park and Park Montgomery in Silver Spring. With our partners, we will be combining culture-rich reading and creative arts to engage our children in fun afterschool activities like this one featured in the video.
