This is the saddest thing. They were captured, forced to be displayed in front of audience and not with its parent. Which human wants to live like that?
It could be its parents died before they could reach it with food. Usually when that happens, the baby is left to fend for itself, since other penguin parents dont have enough resources to adopt nor feed a baby thats not one of their own. Another reason is that the parents (or parent) arent that good with raising young. Since they dont feed the baby adequatly, these people need to step in and feed them so the baby doesnt risk malnutrition.
You are so cruel to make him do what he doesn't like(do not force him to face people or cameras like that) and feeding him so much at a time 😡 please be nice and gentle with them. They don't even know to defend themselves. Poor baby 😭😢 you make me cry
Usually babies need time in between feeding to have the food travel to its stomach. Thats why shes talking inbetween feedings and checking his neck to see if the food went down.
