I’m unable to enjoy seafood boils due to allergies and I love your descriptions of the food. I’m curious to know what the lemon adds to the overall taste of the food?
To me personally, the acidity from the lemon cuts through the “fatiness” of the butter and it just balances so well! ✨

@@porschiadover907as an ER nurse I can confirm that this is not the case. It would depend on the severeness of the allergy first n foremost. These medications are used to calm\help treat the ill n uncomfortable effects caused by an allergic reaction but absolutely cannot PREVENT food allergy. Now if the food allergy is mild (say when u eat crab the only reaction u have is breaking out in hives) then yes this would be ok to do. However if u have a severe allergy to a food that results in anaphylaxis (like ppl that have severe peanut allergies) then NO MEDICATION can prevent this n u should stay completely away from the allergen. This is not to be rude or call u out for being wrong or anything like that. I jknownu were trying to help n be nice. I just want to put this out there bc this is misinformation that could really harm someone if not explained correctly 😊

Hi sweetie. I cook the sauce for over 30 minutes so the spices blend nicely. Basically cook for as long as you can. I let it simmer until it’s nice and thick 🥰♥️♥️♥️
