- Acclaimed singer and songwriter Andrea Bocelli performed "Amazing Grace" and other spiritual songs in an Easter prayer at Milan's Duomo on Sunday. The Italian tenor sang without an audience, in accordance with government regulations for social distancing. More than 25 million people worldwide have watched the performance on UA-cam. Bocelli joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss the impact music can have during the coronavirus pandemic.

He speaks fluent English. He doesn't need a translator. It seems the audio was either nit loud enough on his side or there was internet delay so he didn't hear something the host said so someone repeated it to him.

I like Gayle very much but this def was not a smooth interview. The performance by Bocelli was incredible. The Voice of God.
His performance was like God reaching through him to the entire world. It was a communal prayer from the whole world going up to Heaven. I like Gayle as well, but she was out of her depth here.

Your transmission wasn't to bad but you cut him off when he was speaking about his moments with his wife & he wasn't finished... that was disappointing but overall good to hear from him.
She mentioned his translator, instead of his wife. A quick click on their Instagram will help CBS team to know that was the voice of Andrea Bocelli wife,who's also a singer

The interviewer made this interview really akward. He was not talking from Milan, he lives in the Toscana, the translater is his wife, probably obvious because he was interviewed in his house. Just look at the pictures in the background to see what kind of man he is. Next time please prepare in a better way, as someone who doesn't watch CBS (I am from Europe) this interview didn't shine the best light on this news channel.

CBS team just needs to click on Andrea Bocelli Instagram to learn more about him, and that was his wife's voice, not a translator. Veronica is also a singer.
Next time the opportunity to know who will be translating. She is his wife. If you lack of respect! At least have some diplomacy when addressing someone outside of your circle!!!!!!!

Even I noticed that! She repeated the last question which was unnecessary. Although, he replied very gracefully! She could have asked better questions too!
Perhaps less repetitious multi stepped questions and more time for him to respond? Also, this is not "his translator" ... I believe this was his wife... He is a mench. Hopefully more prepared interviewer next time...?

Did I hear correctly? At roughly 5:53 interval when the host asks Andrea Bocelli if he still feels optimistic everything will be over soon, he says “yes”, and she says “ew”. That’s exactly what she said! What a classless ignorant person to be hosting a public show. (She would be nothing if she hadn’t latched onto Oprah years ago.) Can’t believe she would say “ew”. But then, it shows the extent of her vocabulary.

Alice Borgia Well, Believe it or not, politics might play into her response because she is a Democrat, and unfortunately Democrats are hoping this catastrophe will play out longer so they can blame our current president. They seem very quick to downplay any optimistic remarks.... I read about it day in and day out. It has nothing to do with the welfare of this country and its citizens, but everything to do with their political agenda. Very sad.

I get your point and sure there're people with this awful mentality and thinking only for power and not for the actual people's health and safeness, and so taking advantage from other's disgrace; I don't know the woman interviewing Bocelli (since I'm not american but I live elsewhere, Italy, don't follow USA television) but still I think this is the case she's just saying "thank you" and not express disappoint. If she truly did say "ew", then you're doing a bad figure to your television audience (and in the internet) or in general as a human being. And having the courage to dare say that in the face of a person that are instead devoting their thoughts for hope and everyone's well being, even your own, glad Andrea can't see yours of face.

Lares Deces Gayle King makes $5,500,000 a year to do a professional job., since she is paid to be worth a hundred nurses salaries. I am not more interested in a name pronunciation than the singing. Just that it shows respect and that she had done her due diligence to prepare for their interview. Bocelli sang like an angel and it was very moving around the world. I thank God there are people like him.

I don’t see what is so disturbing about my comment. I think it’s rather humorous. After all, no one has been able to produce credible evidence for the existence of God and/or Jesus. However, if God/Jesus does exist then He should know exactly what it would take to convince me yet He is silent. God is the ultimate absent father playing the most successful game of hide and go seek. As for your scripture reference, why should I believe claims made in the Bible any more than the claims made in the Koran, or The Gospel of Buddha, or the Hindu Bhagavad Gita (a book written at least 700 years prior to the Old Testament)? I suppose the Bible is true because it says so in the Bible? Sorry, but you cannot use the book itself to prove the claims within the book. That’s akin to saying, “The napkin religion is true...because it says so right here on the napkin!” If you can provide proof of God I would most definitely evaluate it. You’ll be the very first to do so and probably win a Nobel Prize! LOL.
Is there hope? Andrea sings of the "the hour I first believed." I do pray that he (and all Catholics) come to believe the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ - not the false and heretical gospel of the Roman Catholic Church - otherwise there is no hope. It cannot save a single soul. No amount of singing, prayers, ritual, beautiful buildings, and stained glass windows - can obliterate the fact that the Roman Catholic Church is an abomination to God. May He have mercy on the souls of those lovely, sincere, but deceived Catholics who must come to Christ personally for cleansing in His blood - not through penance, priests, popes and purgatory. Maybe this time of enforced isolation can bring us closer to the truth of Christ - freed from the Church, the rituals, the priests, and the unholy doctrines. I sincerely pray this will be the case for many Catholics and those who need to be freed from their selfish rebellion against a holy God. Come to Christ alone for cleansing - then you too will know the utterly amazing grace found in Him. "I once was lost but now am found. Twas blind but now I see." It is not just Andrea that is blind - but the whole of humanity. Come to Jesus and truly "see" and know His glorious amazing grace and salvation. Use this time wisely my friends - and it could change your life for eternity. Amen.

The sarcasm of the unbeliever. Unbelief in Christ and Truth is rampant in the earth and the Heavenly Hosts shudder with absolute bewilderment. There comes a time when it is simply too late. Mary and Martha thought it was too late for their brother Lazarus to be rescued from death. It was not too late even in his Spirit and Body separation, being temporarily brought back to life by the Lord....I know this through reading and Faith in the Word. However, for the ones travelling the broad road, in thought, word, deed, behavior and life style, receiving hearty approval from their kindred Spirits....a time is coming and is at hand when it will be too late for them. Only the righteous shall inherit eternal life through obedience to Christ alone. It's really not hard to obey the Gospel. However, If a person dies in their sins because they refused and rejected the Christ... ( This present world says it's ok to do that) He the Lord said, " If you die in your sins, where He dwells you cannot live. Eternity in Heaven is impossible to access if you walk in unbelief as a mortal human and die without Christ the Savior. Of a Truth.....we must all die...or be caught up. Only those alive who belong to Him when He returns shall be caught up. Otherwise....everyone must face death. After death...the judgment. Don't be deceived. God told and showed people how to be Holy. The wicked one is being Worshipped in the earth. HE IS NOT GOD THE CREATOR, NOR IS HE HOLY. NOT. ANY. MORE.

The apostle Paul warned us about those who would bring "another gospel" which will obviously appeal to the flesh.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. ANOTHER JESUS The Jesus of the Bible is not the Jesus of Roman Catholicism - He has been eclipsed by Mary, the Pope and the priests.
ANOTHER GOSPEL - The true Gospel is one of faith "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) The Roman Catholic gospel is one of good works which the Bible says is an abomination to God.
ANOTHER SPIRIT - Is the Holy Spirit behind the gospel of the Catholic Church?
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Galatians 1:6-12)
The Gospel that Paul preached was not the Roman Catholic Gospel (that of good works, penance and purgatory) but the simple gospel of Jesus Christ - that of repentance and complete trust in Christ (in opposition to relying on Mary popes and priests). The apostle Paul says that the RC Gospel brings a curse upon this Church and the people who follow it.
I pray that anyone deceived by this gospel will cry out to God for revelation. It is not easy of yourselves to see this deception - it will require a revelation from God. But He is more than willing to reveal His truth to all who call upon Him in sincerity. May God bless you with His truth. Amen.
