he is great at catching the culture and the moment with each album, at least his culture, if nothing else... his music is a reflection of the times, and where he's at... and for the most part, that's an artist at it's best

i try to hear it ALL, tip... n salute 2 u... n on the subject, as far as guns, drugs, females; i do prefer the artistry "tip" brings to the table over "t.i." but as i think u illustrated on "ti vs tip" they combine to make 1 man; n it's the king (unstoppable)... again: great, great fckin interview! salute to Parker and tip; helluva journalist in the genre
i heard John Lennon say somewhere in an interview, on his song writing process: for a long time, he would go in the studio, sit down to write, and say i'm going to write a radio/pop song, or i'm going to write a real/political song etc..and later in his career, as he progressed, he thought wouldn't it just be better if when i went to write, i didn't box myself in..and just write the best possible song i can.. i wonder where tip is along that timeline; and if he is at all of that mind frame yet?
To me t.ip has 2 classics trap muzik and paper trail both prolific albums sorry king I'd good album to ride to but lyrically some songs where strong some where lazy thank god tip started writing again u could see her grew thru it
