I have this rods’ predecessor, the Grand Teton, its a beast and I’ve caught some huge fish with it. Wish I had this rod for the zoom feature! Great video guys.
I steelhead fish on Lake Erie. This is the only rod I will take. People look at me like I’m crazy but I have caught several with it. No problems at all, rod is light enough for fishing with all day. Not many small streams and regular trout where I live but it would preform excellent with those I would assume. Have used many other tenkara rods the rocky was my first rod. It is a little stiff but needs back bone to support bigger fish. Don’t be afraid to give the rod a try I couldn’t be happier with mine.

The grand Teton is still a complete beast and we always bring it to Alaska every year along with the Rocky!

Haha we always get comments on those boat bananas. Good news is the boat is still intact and we caught fish that day! Bad news is I fell off the boat…
