Hi Angela! Love your Craftroom! Yep Craftrooms are forever evolving! We moved into a new home in 2012 and my Craftroom was a mismatched hodgepodge mess! Finally in 2017 we took everything out and put in new flooring and got rid of a ton of stuff, bought a new desk and storage. Love it now! More spacious ect. I find myself crafting less and less the older I get so I need less stuff. That may change once again you never know. 🌸💜👍

I would never need one this size but I want one because, like you, I have the “I love craft equipment” sickness! 😂 I mostly love it though because you’ve made it so unique and filled with things you love - the colour, the Christmas tree, the coffee, the chairs. Had you done a quick 360• spin and not talked the viewer would see a lovely spacious, well planned room but with you describing it the viewer can ‘feel’ the room. It's a little expensive, but you could look into window tinting or clings that will cut down on the heat, but you'll still be able to see outside. Thanks for your craft room tour!

the dream craft room! I feel lucky, still in my mom appartment, we have a unused room for 10 years that when I started working, I get it for my desk, and now my crafting space, but I just have 2 towers of drawers to keep my stuff, and we have a couples of cabinet, who has bedding and clothes, so I have stuff all over the space! But! I will have my own appartment this month, i'm so exited because I will have a entire bedroom for this! This is the beggining of having a huge craftroom like yours! ♥ thank you for sharing!

You could put a piece of scrapbook paper on the fronts of those mess basket drawers since you don’t like the way it looks. I did that with those plastic sterlite 3 drawer organizers, they were see through. Looks better now.
OMGOODNESS! YOUR CRAFT ROOM IS AMAZING! I LOVE IT! I just stumbled onto your UA-cam channel and was so impressed that I had to subscribe immediately. I have been unable to sew or craft for many years. I'm finally able to get back in to it and will be decorating my craft room soon (hopefully). I haven't airbrushed for over 20 years, but I used to really enjoy it. I got my husband into it as well. I love, love HALLMARK, especially at Christmas time. My daughter is now 28, but we coached in softball since she was five. We coached myy 33 year old son in football and baseball. Both of my kids did soccer for one season. I just feel like I have so much I. Common with you. I connected with so much you were saying. Although, I do have to admit there are some equipment that I have never heard of, but I'm so excited to hear all about it and how to use it. Loved the tour, and love your craft room......I've been in a frenzy trying to get my craft room back in order, seems impossible sometimes, I'm also in Houston (well close).
We are so much a like I use the same colors in my craft room. I use the same workstation organization style. I label too, but I just use my labeler. I Love your labels on your supply drawers! I'm assuming you made those with your cameo? Are they vinyl too? I don't have the Ikea furniture. There isn't one near me. I use a lot of go-organize.com products. I like you have been working on my room over the last 10 years from moving. So each place I go to dictates how my room is set up. I started in a basement. Then to a huge family room (My favorite room), next it was a closed in back porch looking out over the river(tons of windows that faded some fabric and paper stored on the ends), next small bedroom...And now I'm back to a windowless basement in this house. So I think our style and way of organizing things evolves with each different space. I love your pink Xmas tree and chairs. I have some pink smaller rolling desk chairs that need new foam on them, but have held out replacing. I know that there is at least one more move coming. I am a paper crafter, party planner/decor creator, mesh & flower, sewer(mostly decorative items or sometimes I get into a gift mood and sew 40 sets of hats & scarfs), quilter(mostly wall hangings if I'm in the mood). I love doing embroidery projects(pillow cases, dish towels, etc. NO cross stitch), but I don't have time to sit and do it much. And sometimes I just see stuff and that I have a vision for what I make with it and do it. So I too have a mix of different crafting supplies. And like you I want to downsize on my interests and get rid of those supplies too. I bought a CRICUT EXPLORE AIR 2 and regretted it too. Unfortunately it's pass the 30 DAY return mark. Its still sitting in the box unopened. I've seen different people who enjoy the cameo too. But I have so many CRICUT cartridges and downloads on my old CRICUT Expression, I thought I should stick with them. Oh well live and learn. I love your entire space. Not only is it organized open space, it's also INVITING to others to just sit and relax. Sometimes it's just nice to have someone in the room to talk to even if they don't craft. I don't know you personally, but I'm glad to hear your having a better year. We have all had times in our lives when the last thing you want to do is craft...or even get out of bed. So here's to year of fresh beginnings, simple pleasures and new ideas to you! Hi Mary! Sorry for the delayed response. I've had a nasty summer cold. Yes, I cut the labels out of Oracal 651 vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo and then applied them on my drawers. But I do love a label maker! I have two...with pink tape of course! Ugh, they need more IKEAS in the US!!! I will have to check out the website you mentioned. Thanks for watching!
And I still have all my Cricut cartridges too! I'm not going to completely give up on Cricut. I've heard that they are supposed to finally make their Design Space program work offline. Not sure if that's true. But they will also need to greatly improve it's functionality to come anywhere close to competing with the Silhouette software. But that's just my opinion. You sound like my kind of crafty gal!

Angela I absolutely love your craft studio! I love the different stations, the pink decor - everything about it! Maybe because my name is also Angela, I live in Texas, I love to craft (many different things), and my craft room is PINK! with a touch of black! I started scrapbooking in the late 80’s then starting card making, creating 3D items in paper, making wreaths and quilting. I recently did all of the decorations for a family reunion in South Texas. I also have a Christmas tree decorated in my craft room but just like my room, my tree is much smaller than yours! I do have a question - I really like the font that you used to label your drawers - would you mind sharing which font that you used? It’s beautiful! Thanks for sharing! Hi Angela! I just found your channel and subscribed! I love your craft room! Pink is my favorite color too! I'm going to be moving into a new home soon, and I'll have my own scrapbook room for the first time! I don't have any furniture or anything for it yet, so I'm looking for lots of ideas!

New subbie here!! This is such an amazing craft room!! We bought a house in September of last year so my space went from a craft corner to a craft room and I couldn’t be more grateful. What a blessing to win an Embroidery machine!! Go girly! Have you learned how to use it yet? I know you can make so much as well as run a good business with one. I want to do both but I'm still saving for one. Loved your craft room tour and style. I'm not a hot pink lover more pastel mint green kinda girl but you sure made me love your room just the same. It's perfect and not overwhelming at all. I have been looking for our forever home and too funny i want a big garage with a large craft room above it for my and my daughters business we are building. Love yours so much and know not to settle for sure now because I definetly need quiet away from everything to work well! Thank you for sharing it!! We are so much a like I use the same colors in my craft room. I use the same workstation organization style. I label too, but I just use my labeler. I Love your labels on your supply drawers! I'm assuming you made those with your cameo? Are they vinyl too? I don't have the Ikea furniture. There isn't one near me. I use a lot of go-organize.com products.
I like you have been working on my room over the last 10 years from moving. So each place I go to dictates how my room is set up. I started in a basement. Then to a huge family room (My favorite room), next it was a closed in back porch looking out over the river(tons of windows that faded some fabric and paper stored on the ends), next small bedroom...And now I'm back to a windowless basement in this house. So I think our style and way of organizing things evolves with each different space. I love your pink Xmas tree and chairs. I have some pink smaller rolling desk chairs that need new foam on them, but have held out replacing. I know that there is at least one more move coming.
I am a paper crafter, party planner/decor creator, mesh & flower, sewer(mostly decorative items or sometimes I get into a gift mood and sew 40 sets of hats & scarfs), quilter(mostly wall hangings if I'm in the mood). I love doing embroidery projects(pillow cases, dish towels, etc. NO cross stitch), but I don't have time to sit and do it much. And sometimes I just see stuff and that I have a vision for what I make with it and do it.
So I too have a mix of different crafting supplies. And like you I want to downsize on my interests and get rid of those supplies too. I bought a CRICUT EXPLORE AIR 2 and regretted it too. Unfortunately it's pass the 30 DAY return mark. Its still sitting in the box unopened. I've seen different people who enjoy the cameo too. But I have so many CRICUT cartridges and downloads on my old CRICUT Expression, I thought I should stick with them. Oh well live and learn.
I love your entire space. Not only is it organized open space, it's also INVITING to others to just sit and relax. Sometimes it's just nice to have someone in the room to talk to even if they don't craft. I don't know you personally, but I'm glad to hear your having a better year. We have all had times in our lives when the last thing you want to do is craft...or even get out of bed. So here's to year of fresh beginnings, simple pleasures and new ideas to you! I will be following you to see what kind of things you will be creating in that beautiful room of yours....Mary

Hi Mary! Sorry for the delayed response. I've had a nasty summer cold. Yes, I cut the labels out of Oracal 651 vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo and then applied them on my drawers. But I do love a label maker! I have two...with pink tape of course! Ugh, they need more IKEAS in the US!!! I will have to check out the website you mentioned. Thanks for watching!
And I still have all my Cricut cartridges too! I'm not going to completely give up on Cricut. I've heard that they are supposed to finally make their Design Space program work offline. Not sure if that's true. But they will also need to greatly improve it's functionality to come anywhere close to competing with the Silhouette software. But that's just my opinion. You sound like my kind of crafty gal!

Angela I absolutely love your craft studio! I love the different stations, the pink decor - everything about it! Maybe because my name is also Angela, I live in Texas, I love to craft (many different things), and my craft room is PINK! with a touch of black! I started scrapbooking in the late 80’s then starting card making, creating 3D items in paper, making wreaths and quilting. I recently did all of the decorations for a family reunion in South Texas. I also have a Christmas tree decorated in my craft room but just like my room, my tree is much smaller than yours!
I do have a question - I really like the font that you used to label your drawers - would you mind sharing which font that you used? It’s beautiful!
