Nice build although sucks that they disabled supercharging for salvage/wrecked Teslas
You'll need to relplace front subframe . When replacing you'll need to lower battery otherwise it's going to be very tricky. Rear control arm bolts will not come off because battery in the way
You will have to take a desition to change the subframe or to weld new plates, important is to get the same aluminium quality as used by Tesla to ensure the strength. Keep the great work
I'd look to find another car with a clear front clip, but wrecked rear end and/or sides personally. Either way, I'd replace that subframe vs trying to weld that, etc. It could also be warped/bent and its just going to be a mess later. Better to suck it up and do it right now.

Weld the new plates for fix the suspension and save money for the air bags

If you go with a wrecked tesla you will not get super charged stations.tesla took it away on all wrecked Tesla's
Jerry Wilcox thats honestly scary if tesla can take away supercharge imagine what else they can do. Disable the entire car.

TIG weld new aluminum plates over the drill out the holes call it good samcrac and did something similar with his with his Audi

If you cut off the alignment bolts, how did you manage to install the new ones being the battery is in the way? Nice that you have cool neighbors, if I did this mine would turn me into code enforcement. Keep up the great vids!

CA Buildz Oh I see. For some reason I thought it had to go back in the same way so it could be aligned properly. I guess it wouldn’t matter which way cam bolts are installed. Nice find on Copart, that’s for sure. Do you reveal what you bought it for and how much in parts you’ll have into it at the end of the build? I understand if you don’t, but it would def help the guys with smaller huveos decide if they want to jump into a project like this.

Ask a pro to weld the aluminum frame instead of replacing it if the measurements are fine
The salvage inspection is quite rigorous not sure if that would pass?
Teslas are now cheap for a reason. They disabled supercharging unit and other cool features on these salvage Teslas so no one would buy them wrecked. I hope you knew this before buying 😂
Karolis Bareikis he said that in his first salvage video and yes he knows
They aren't cheap at salvage auctions either
