Dean Caten: "So as we say, it''s like putting Frank-N-Furter, Freddie Kruger in a threesome with Jason."

Dan Caten: "Financially I would say it''s been a shitty year, I mean it''s been bad, it''s been a bad year but..."
Dean Caten: "But we''re positive people."
Dan Caten: "We''re feeling it, we don''t feel it as much as others feel it, because we''re not huge and we''re not small, I think we''re at the perfect proportion to feel this. We''re feeling it, but I think we''re just looking forward, 2010 is going to be very positive."
Dean Caten: "But whatever you dwell on it just remains, if you just kind of turn the page and move on, I mean, dwelling on it and worrying about things isn''t going to make anything better, it''s not. We''re positive."

STORYLINE
THE HOCKEY HORROR SHOW
Many of the menswear designers in Milan came out fighting - DSquared2 were no different.
In fact, at the show on Tuesday (19 JAN 2010), they opted for a cross between a blood-spattered hockey player and characters from the "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
Their models were sporting the battered and bruised remains of fighting it out on the rink.
Summing it up - Dean Caten described it as the "Hockey Horror Dsquared2 show."
"Naturally we''re from Canada so the hockey''s a big sport, it''s winter and we always try to do something that relates to our country. So Canada being field hockey, it''s also a very masculine sport, there''s also a lot of interesting shapes and details, and mixing that world with a glamorous world and a gory world," co-designer Dan Caten elaborated.
The volumes of hockey protective gear was teamed with tiny trousers and vests.
Silver or black sequins, patents and latex added some shine to the predominately black palette.
Jeans were distressed and even the bow-ties were toughened up and sported spikes.
They also had a celebrity element to their Frank-N-Furter on ice collection.
Tokio Hotel''s Bill Kaulitz took to the catwalk to open and close the show - his hockey-esque over-sized shoulders were spouting feathers, making him look suitably rock ''n'' roll.
