With the new update voice commands DO NOT WORK. Works for 5 minutes then doesn't pick up my voice or any no matter what you do. Trying to view the live camera doesn't work when away. Just don't waste your time the echo 5 has the worst mic and most issues out of all of them. Garbage device

I have bought an echo show and the microphone has a permanent red button. I press it and nothing happens. Any solutions?
I would give it a reboot and see if that solves it, if not check for updates and if that does not resolve I would reset it to factory settings
