    Just picked up my SRBS inconel full size this morning. As soon as the compacts drop Im going to pick one of them up mas well. I think these are the best value going at this time for what you get. The fact that its half price of the RC3 and performs better should be a no brainer for folks. On top of that B&T's mount design is superior as well. I have heard they originally designed the mount and that makes sense because Surefire wouldn't just let them produce their own version of it. Thanks for the video gentlemen.

At first I didn't think I'd like it, then took off my ear pro and realized I was 5ft behind a 308 gun with no hearing discomfort. But I will admit. That series was Heavy. I'd really like to see how many rounds it can handle cyclic before popping though.

    There have been a lot of discussions on the RC3 fireballs. Test show, and per surefire instruction, you need to use the pronged flash hiders only to git signature mitigation. It's a bummer for sure, especially for all of us (myself included) that have surefire muzzle brakes. Not to mention the 20 bill price tag after tax!

      @VbdRetail 3 місяці тому +1

      @WalterRitchey well, we specifically brought the rotex 3 to the market in the US for mr762's. But ironically, B&T has OEM'd hk's suppressors and many firearms for a very long time. Their suppressors also don't void warranty for HK.
      But I have to mention. The scar 16 is approved for only rotex and srbs, and the scar 17/20 the Srbs.
      As for HK's, fire away.
      And for glocks, the OLS doesn't void warranty. B&T can actually get things that Glock USA and HK USA cannot. Which is quite wild when you deep dive into the business relationships.

    Help me something fundamental please - it seems that even with a can the noise levels are still high enough to cause permanent hearing damage - over repeated exposure. This means ear protection is still required for 556 and higher calibers. So, why invest in the technology and allow the government to create a database with your entry? I don’t see any gains - save those from using subsonic - hearing safe calibers in 9, 45, and perhaps 300BO, as examples. This is a sincere question- my apologies if the answer is in the duh - you should know this - realm.

      @refuztosay9454 you commenting on this video. Purchasing things with cards. Visiting various websites. 4473's. Being a member or a range. Geographic phone location of being at a shop. Getting ammo etc... it's all in a database.
      If you've ever purchased a firearm, in a shop. They have access to that record.
      You're already in a database, so that doesn't matter.
      And there's a huge difference in sound. Reducing sound levels a ton. For the shooter, for neighbors etc.
      Shooting a magazine suppressed is way less hearing damage than one unsuppressed. You can think hunting on that. Or being at a range and someone 10 yards away isn't making you wish you had ear pro on.
      You can also shoot at night without notifying the town. There's tons of upsides. But the whole "being on a list" aspect.... brother unless you don't use the internet. Drive a car without a computer, and only buy things in private sales with cash. They know. It's not hard to find out who is a gun owner in 2024.

      @zachashcraft1126 the rotex 3 is a baffled suppressor. We have been putting it on an MWS and getting zero gas back to our face. But I have seen it run on overgassed guns, and there's a cloud at times.

      We have more testing to do, but so far. It seems the Nato A2 style mount it was designed around performs better than the SureFire Hub mount. I'd say if you wanted to run a SF mount, to get their A2 style copy. Rather than use a brake.

      @VbdRetail 4 місяці тому +1

      If we get the opportunity. But I'm not in a rush. If we run into one and enjoy it, I'd be more persuaded.
      Currently my concerning observations with CAT are
      1. If you read their warranty. In the design there is an internal "screen" in the blast chamber designed to wear out in something like 500-1500 rounds. Which is not covered under warranty. Now the screen wearing is less a concern than "how is performance after its gone?". If it wears that quickly, I'd guess it plays a significant role in sound reduction. And all tests / reviews so far are on new suppressors. So I'd really like to see of it maintains that same level of performance over time.
      2. Their attitude for being such a new company. I've got heavy K.B. vibes, which is fine. But with being so new, and bold claims paired with that attitude. It makes me wonder if they're going to stick around, or just going to dissappear and collect.
      3. Not sure if they changed this yet or not. But last I checked. Their warranty only covers the use of their muzzle devices. But made a Hub suppressor. And during release had a very small amount of MD's compared to suppressors. Forcing majority of customers to either wait indefinitely or void the warranty.
      That just doesn't sit right with me.
      But, they may be great, the may be around for a while. Time will tell.
      At some point we will cross paths with one, and I'd love to record our impressions/comparison. Because at the end of the day, what I listed above is pure speculation, and I could be incorrect.
