At 0:43 of the video if you slow down you can see what looks to be a soul trapped into a emrald crystal like cage on a sculpture that resembles her own nails she was born with. Evelyn walks down the street as the city goes into a blackout (Possibly from her destroying the transformer which effects a few blocks.) She then finds a victom and travels to their location in the city. She then seduces the victom and has some good time with them since she feeds on happy people but then right once they fell in love they can not resist for good. after they fall asleep evelyn throws them into a pool that is scene in the music video filled with oil. Then she scratches the wall with her nails and burns the person from her hand throwing the fire onto them making them suffer with so much agony that transforms evelyn into a demon form. which the serpents in the music video represent her shadowy purple serpent form that she has with those dark red wings.

To put it simply, Evelynn has been around since the very begining of creation, a being with no form. Then as life appeared it began to feed on it, but as eons went by and life evolved it learned to fear Evelynn, so 'she' evolved into something able to lure and tricks preys, that way they would not run and instead even come closer themselves ! Evelynn feeds on pain, pleasure and basically extreme emotions although the first two are big favorites.
The assumption is that she could be one of 10 original Demons, we know all the Demons have been around since the beginning but we don’t know what number she is, we only know that the strongest and 1st is Fiddlesticks. A lot of people have also noticed that all the Demons could be based off the deadly sins. Evelynn is Lust, Tham is Gluttony, etc.

It’s like people “suffering” from insanity. They may be having the time of their lives but the core of their mind is warped in a way that probably will never be fixed. She was existent and felt nothing then she tasted suffering during a horrific war, and she started to feel and like the feeling. Then the suffering ended but she was addicted to the pain she gorged on, the pain that made her more than what she was. Now theirs not enough suffering to sustain her like their was and she hunts for it forever, never quite getting enough like that first time.

This character is so well done that playing her is actually a pleasure. A true Evelynn main is just like her, getting pleasure from her victims.

I recommend watching her Voice lines in Legends of Runeterra,it literally just released a few days/weeks ago compared to her League of Legends voice lines who are years old,and let’s just say that in LoR (short for legends of Runeterra if you didn’t know yet) she is arguably even more freaky lmao
For the voicelines part, I think it's quite important to see interactions of different champions. Does skinspotlight champion interaction videos have copyright issues? Otherwise they are quite nice. Especially for upcoming Swain reaction, I would recommend using a video that shows different interactions because the Grand General has a lot of different voicelines for many situations. He does not only interact with champions, he also has lines for collecting soul fragments, rallying his team or securing objectives like slaying dragons.
i highly reccomend Swain's interaction now that you know more about the over all lore but i will give an advice all though i prefer the quote videos and swain does have one, most of his quotes are directed to someone so maybe check out both or just skin spotlight so you can see to who he is talking to

Evealynn is not exactly a sadist. She's a demon, born to feed on one emotion. She is a demon that feeds and pain. Her form is malleable, to an extent. She can take the form of a seductress to lure in her victim, and then cause them terror and despair so that their pain is all the more delicious to her. Her stringers also help in those regards, as you likely saw in her splash art. In some ways, she is a character you might pity. But she is just trying to survive like a carnivore or omnivore does.
Sadism is just enjoying the pain of others. Her entire entire identity/personality is sadism and I don't pity her because she's a demon-not an animal or a person trying to survive. The suffering of others is her drug not her food and I doubt she needs so much of it from any poor sod unlucky enough to cross her path.

In my humble opinion, you're absolutely correct about the character of Evelyn. She's basically a late-stage addict who is almost nothing without extreme emotions, makes me wonder why she grappled onto pain more than sadness or fear like fiddlesticks-- even more so why she derived pleasure from it. I like to think there is a reason for this, but it's most likely just for the sake of character variety amongst the demons. Perhaps it may have had masochistic impulses in addition to its sadistic tendencies (at a point) desperately trying to tear at it's formed bodies but feeling nothing at all.
Since she began gaining consciousness during the Rune Wars, it makes sense that pain and suffering would be the first thing to latch onto; a lot of that was going on back then.
As an Evelynn main of a few years, it pleases me greatly to see someone dive so deep into her character. She really is fun to play, and, if done right, a true nightmare to go against. I haven't played in a couple of years. Looks like I have a new skin to acquire.
fun fact, evelynn's voice actor is also Lisa's english voice actor in genshin impact. So i guess that gives you a lil sneak peak of who Lisa is as a character lol

The Rune Wars are what Heimerdinger's reminded of by hextech and why he's so scared of it in Arcane. It was much longer ago than 300 years, but Bandle city time works in mysterious ways so Heimerdinger was alive back then.
THE BEST PART ABOUT 15:40 TO 16:40 IS THAT SHES SHIELDING HERSELF BECAUSE OF THE IMPLICATIONS, BUT REALLY THIS IS PROBABLY WHAT SHES SAYING WHILE SHE KILLS THEM.
If I may offer a suggestion for this champion exploration series: Maybe you could look at some high level gameplay for the champion. Just to see how the gameplay reflects the actual personality of the character. I'm not talking about a full game. Just a 1-2 minute video of individual plays.
I think all demons in the game have their one thing eve is lust , fiddle is fear ,tahm kench is gluttony and swains demon also have a thing can't remember it though might be pride or lies
Fiddles voice lines talk about what each demon's domain is. Eve is agony, Fiddle is fear, Tahm Kench is addiction, Nocturne is nightmares, Swains demon (Raum) is secrets. Lore states that the other demon's domains are; Nilah's demon (Ashlesh) is joy, and Annies bear Tibbers (Tybaulk) is the only demon without a specified domain.

Quick background about Evelynn is that she's one of the oldest demon in the world of Runeterra. Her food is the agony of humans so she torture all her prey to death and her favorite targets are the most happy people and people who almost have everything because because they give the most agony unlike people that are depressed, suicidal and drunkards basically people whose at the bottom part in life.
Also on your point at 14:43, yeah she does mostly go after men bc, well lets be honest men dont really think about consequences when it comes to sex, but she does go after women. Her Runeterra cards show as such
I would not feel too sorry for Evelyn, while yes she has that dominating hunger for pain and pleasure, she is the cheapest of them all. When she chooses a target, she stalked them , learning about them and then drown them in a moment of pleasure and then pain. As for demons in general: They are creatures of pure emotions. But not only negative motions. The newest champion revealed a demon of joy. There are 10 elder demons, existing since time beginning, with fiddlesticks being one of them. If you want another demon look up tahm kench. Again another demon related character is swain. He is believed to posses the power of another of the elder demons. Another is yone but he struggles with a lesser demon. And at last the covern skin line is a separate universe where all champs play other rolls.
Ah i meant more like her existance is quite a sad one if thats what she lives for but yeah she is SCARY haha! Good to know about the other demons, I want to know more about the demon lore specifically of league of legends as well so thank you for this :)
I don't think Raum is a primal demon. They seem to be going for 10 basic emotions as defined by Izard, which are fear (Fiddlesticks), joy (Ashlesh), anger, shame, surprise, disgust, guilt, contempt, interest and distress.
You should watch the Music Video called "Villain". Its a song about an Evelynn from a different universe within League, where she is part of a pop group called KDA. The song is performed by Madison Beer and Kim Petras. And the video is incredible.
What you said about her using this form to seduce men and that it is most appealing is accurate, but I'd like to add onto something. No, you didn't say anything incorrectly, but there is a little detail. It has been stated in some other pieces of writing, and you can infer this from her biography, but even though evelynn targets males, she can target ANYONE she pleases. As you said, she has learnt from humans about their deepest pleasures. If she were to travel to bilgewater and for example spot Graves, and see how he reacts towards others, she would for instance know women are not his thing. So, evelynn would change into a more masculine, broad figure that is appealing. That's how she gets away with it. She doesn't just have a feminine form, she has many. But yes, as you said, her form is just universally easier to lure others with. I absolutely loved this reaction as always and I hope you continue exploring runeterra!!! Keep up the awesome work! Oh and her voice actress is phenomenal, really brings evelynn together.

Evealynn is not exactly a sadist. She's a demon, born to feed on one emotion. She is a demon that feeds and pain. Her form is malleable, to an extent. She can take the form of a seductress to lure in her victim, and then cause them terror and despair so that their pain is all the more delicious to her. Her stringers also help in those regards, as you likely saw in her splash art. In some ways, she is a character you might pity. But she is just trying to survive like a carnivore or omnivore does.
Sadism is just enjoying the pain of others. Her entire entire identity/personality is sadism and I don't pity her because she's a demon-not an animal or a person trying to survive. The suffering of others is her drug not her food and I doubt she needs so much of it from any poor sod unlucky enough to cross her path.

Evelyn is one of my favorite champions to play XD she's not really "evil", during the Rune Wars, all the pain manifested into life: Evelyn. So the Coven theme song covers for all the coven skins. the climax of the song is Old God Warwick "hunting"
The little tid bit with Vayne trying to kill Evelynn comes from vayne lossing both her parents to Evelynn. It's why Vayne hates all magical beings.

So Evelynn doesn't just target men, she targets everyone! Even the form we see, this version of her is really just one of many "skins" of desire she can look like. And this form is in many ways the ultimate "luring men in" form, so the voicelines we hear are those befitting that form. She most def targets women who like men, women who like women, men who like men etc as well. All are prey
in LoR she has like other demons that look similar to her, I hope they become playable sometime in LoL (I hope its not her other forms)

In my humble opinion, you're absolutely correct about the character of Evelyn. She's basically a late-stage addict who is almost nothing without extreme emotions, makes me wonder why she grappled onto pain more than sadness or fear like fiddlesticks-- even more so why she derived pleasure from it. I like to think there is a reason for this, but it's most likely just for the sake of character variety amongst the demons. Perhaps it may have had masochistic impulses in addition to its sadistic tendencies (at a point) desperately trying to tear at it's formed bodies but feeling nothing at all.
Since she began gaining consciousness during the Rune Wars, it makes sense that pain and suffering would be the first thing to latch onto; a lot of that was going on back then.
As an Evelynn main of a few years, it pleases me greatly to see someone dive so deep into her character. She really is fun to play, and, if done right, a true nightmare to go against.
I haven't played in a couple of years. Looks like I have a new skin to acquire.

If I may offer a suggestion for this champion exploration series: Maybe you could look at some high level gameplay for the champion. Just to see how the gameplay reflects the actual personality of the character. I'm not talking about a full game. Just a 1-2 minute video of individual plays.
I think all demons in the game have their one thing eve is lust , fiddle is fear ,tahm kench is gluttony and swains demon also have a thing can't remember it though might be pride or lies

Fiddles voice lines talk about what each demon's domain is. Eve is agony, Fiddle is fear, Tahm Kench is addiction, Nocturne is nightmares, Swains demon (Raum) is secrets. Lore states that the other demon's domains are; Nilah's demon (Ashlesh) is joy, and Annies bear Tibbers (Tybaulk) is the only demon without a specified domain.

Quick background about Evelynn is that she's one of the oldest demon in the world of Runeterra. Her food is the agony of humans so she torture all her prey to death and her favorite targets are the most happy people and people who almost have everything because because they give the most agony unlike people that are depressed, suicidal and drunkards basically people whose at the bottom part in life.
I do wish that Evelynn had a male skin to reflect the fact that it takes shape of what it’s prey desires most but whatever

I would not feel too sorry for Evelyn, while yes she has that dominating hunger for pain and pleasure, she is the cheapest of them all.
When she chooses a target, she stalked them , learning about them and then drown them in a moment of pleasure and then pain.
As for demons in general:
They are creatures of pure emotions.
But not only negative motions. The newest champion revealed a demon of joy.
There are 10 elder demons, existing since time beginning, with fiddlesticks being one of them.
If you want another demon look up tahm kench.
Again another demon related character is swain. He is believed to posses the power of another of the elder demons.
Another is yone but he struggles with a lesser demon.
And at last the covern skin line is a separate universe where all champs play other rolls.
Ah i meant more like her existance is quite a sad one if thats what she lives for but yeah she is SCARY haha! Good to know about the other demons, I want to know more about the demon lore specifically of league of legends as well so thank you for this :)

I don't think Raum is a primal demon. They seem to be going for 10 basic emotions as defined by Izard, which are fear (Fiddlesticks), joy (Ashlesh), anger, shame, surprise, disgust, guilt, contempt, interest and distress.

What you said about her using this form to seduce men and that it is most appealing is accurate, but I'd like to add onto something. No, you didn't say anything incorrectly, but there is a little detail.
It has been stated in some other pieces of writing, and you can infer this from her biography, but even though evelynn targets males, she can target ANYONE she pleases. As you said, she has learnt from humans about their deepest pleasures.
If she were to travel to bilgewater and for example spot Graves, and see how he reacts towards others, she would for instance know women are not his thing. So, evelynn would change into a more masculine, broad figure that is appealing.
That's how she gets away with it. She doesn't just have a feminine form, she has many. But yes, as you said, her form is just universally easier to lure others with.
