Are you wondering what to wear to paddle a canoe or kayak when the water is ice cold? This video goes over my cold water and winter paddling gear, including balaclava, drysuit, neoprene gloves, and neoprene boots. Don't forget to layer underneath your drysuit with at least a baselayer. Always remember, that often times you need to dress for the swim, meaning your clothing should be focused on the temperature of the water as opposed to the temperature of the outside weather.

Good job. What kind of drysuit do you have? I am looking at getting one for sea kayaking but there are so many options and some are a lot of $

I'm a fan of keeping it simple and clean. Pick one without all the options, it is just to keep you dry. I have an older version of the one from Alpacka: "Kokatat Men’s Swift Entry Dry Suit with Relief Zipper and Socks". If I were to buy one today, that would be the one I would get.
