Not exactly, there are far better games on both 16 bit consoles that absolutely destroy this game. Want something on the Genesis truly underrated? Try Alisia Dragoon, or Ristar, or even Dynamite Headdy.
I used to play hooky from elementry school just to stay home and play this, along with Decap Attack. :P Playing these games now is never the same though. You can't recreate the past or that nostalgia no matter how hard you try.

Genesis's grating drowning in a sea of electricity SFX, horrible NA composed soundtracks(JPN scores were a LOT better), dreary ugly limited colours and overall crappier graphics when stacked up againstthe SNES, just made it feel like a second rate distant 16 bit console with quirky titles that generally lacked depth. I still had a pretty decent time with genesis, both those memories pale in comparison to what i got with NES & Super. Mario World only obliterated everything on GEN.

This game is very disturbing. But you may ask why? I always sneeze a lot and many snot comes out of me sometimes I have to go take a crap a lot I fart on random occasions I burp for no reason I spit out loogies many times. Should I stop eating food that literally does that?
So glad I found the Sega version of Boogerman at a thrift shop for just $5! Such a fun classic to play! It even survived being 3 inches underwater in a flooding a few years ago! Evidence shows by my still being able to play it.

Not only are your burps and your farts weapons, but you can light your farts and rocket yourself up into the air! 🤼♂️💨🥴🤢🤮 If THAT isn't the absolute best attack you can have? I don't know what could be?!?!? A perfect game for a teenage boy who loves farts. Just an overall goofy character with obnoxious levels, and awful enemies. Again a perfect game for kids and even some older people who can appreciate obnoxious humor. This is DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE for my Retro Gaming room. 9.8/10!
Ah the CLASSIC Boogerman....A Pick & Flick Adventure. It DOESN'T get any more EPIC or ICONIC than that! There were some awesome, truly awesome "Adventure" games made back then. Bonk's Adventure & Bonk's Revenge were another two. Toe Jam and Earl. Battletoads. So many unique characters and HILARIOUS STORIES about them made these games so fun to play and to explore! I really miss those days of gaming! They were truly the best times for all of the systems! Games may have been improving graphically, but their focus still remained on the FUN! At least the great games did. There were some cash grabs, and some real💩💩terds💩💩 as well, but overall it was a BLAST and a epic time to be a gamer!
