Stroud's press conference he said the Texans have 5 number 1 wide receivers and gushed about 2nd year player John Metchie. C.J. Stroud on John Metchie III improvement this offseason:
As y’all can see, he’s running some of the best routes I’ve ever seen. His lateral quickness, his stop and start, he’s been through a lot fighting cancer and fighting injury… As you can see, he’s making plays, he’s showing up and showing out. I’m excited for him to show his value that we’ve all known he has, now he can put it on the field. He’s going to be pivotal and important to the football team.”
PFF On Derek Stingley’s ranking in their top corners list:
“The 2023 version of Stingley is much more of what we expected after he was selected third overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. He followed up a 49.9 grade in his rookie year with an 85.3 grade that ranked fifth at the position in 2023. If he plays like he did a season ago, he’ll find himself in the top 10 of these rankings next year.”

That was my main thing: ‘Will I be okay to run and play football like I’ve been doing?’ Once they told me like it was just like a ‘through and through’, once they told me that, ‘you will be good,’ I was good. I’m not going to disparage PFF, they seem to be mostly everyone’s go to source for NFL stats and players grading.
I would hope their rating is based on silly bias over any privy information they have that justifies their grading.
At the very least, it makes me do a double take and be suspicious of the reason Stingley is rated so low.

I don’t think anyone dislikes the show but we don’t agree with everything that you think. I told you yesterday they won’t keep Noah Brown over Metchie but as long as Noah is ready for training camp and has a good camp we will probably keep 5 to 6 WR on the roster this year. I guess that line you have “CJ Stroud yeah” is corny might wanna upgrade that. But overall I like the show. Not sure if sting is being disrespected but he was injured in his rookie season and missed 9 games last year I think he’s 27th because he hasn’t played a full season yet it’s like ok you balled out when you came back last year but can you do it again.

I've almost commented this a few times... I think you're super smart, refreshing & passionate about the content, and I know you have to work on growing the channel with algos, etc... but I've always felt u farm a bit too much and so each time I'm like 50/50 whether I grind thru what u have to say. (And from a production standpoint the mic could be a lot better -- it's super empty)

SNEED in the top 10 😅 Based on his on field performance last season how can you not say that he’s the best CB in the league in all honesty? 🤔 I understand people love sauce but the tape just don’t lie. Sneed is the number one in my opinion and Stingley is way better than at least 8 players on this list off of talent alone. Champ Bailey potential with Stingley. I’d definitely put him at worst top 6 only because he has alot more to prove.
