Mysterious Friend X is just so cute. Is she singl- 2 cups packs in a cup?? More!! More!! Guess you know you're drank a lot of coffee when you're immune to them like In- Mysterious Friend X and Bae xD
She's having VISA trouble and any perceived Hololive "work" could get her in trouble. Even though she is clearly willingly helping a friend out for free since her job is speaking on stream, she's avoiding doing that.
@@raytamara777 To work in a country, as opposed to visiting on vacation, you need to get a work visa. Working while on a tourist visa can lead to significant legal trouble, including being permanently banned from entering the country. For Japan specifically, there are a few different visa durations that can be applied for: 15 days, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or 3 years. Ina had a bunch of stuff to do for work in Japan, so she intended to get at least a 6 month work visa. Unfortunately, after close to 3 months in Japan, it came to her attention that she only had a 3 month visa (due to an unspecified logistical issue at Cover Corp). She had previously planned to return home briefly, and then return to Japan to continue work, bringing her Mom along as well for a bit of vacationing. However, due to the issue with the visa, she had to decide whether to cancel her 2nd trip to Japan, or switch to a tourist visa and make it a vacation. She chose to switch to a tourist visa, so during her trip to Japan, she is legally not allowed to do any work. As Ina's job is (loosely speaking) to talk to viewers on stream, to avoid legal trouble she is avoiding speaking on stream (or posting on twitter, or having meetings with potential sponsors, or ...). Note that using text-to-speech isn't really a protection from legal trouble - she wouldn't be able to do a full stream with text-to-speech, for example. The small amount of actual speaking is a much better defense. However, she's using the text-to-speech to stay far away from any grey lines to avoid any problems. This level of distancing herself from work may or may not be strictly necessary, but Japan (like most countries) truly are very strict about working when on a tourist visa, and she is high enough profile that she could get caught very easily if the authorities decided to make an example. I hope this clarifies the situation!
I imagine her with a top hat, a tuxedo, a cape, a whit domino mask, and holding a rose in her mouth, with a cup of coffee in her hand.
I didn’t realize Ina cosplays as Tuxedo Mask
Her job there was done.
Nah, gotte be a silver tray with a fancy cup of coffe on it.
Mysterious friend X is so mysterious!
We Are Hidden among you!
hey, their name is mysterious for a reason
I know they’re using a text to speech program, but that “Nice” sounded so like Lady Ninomae Inanis.
Remember that time Kiara pranked Nenechi, disguising Ina as one manager? Oh, how the turn tables...
0:23 She says "Uno took longer than expected"
sounds to me like a "sounds like ina but sounds enough like a different word to be able to pass it off as not actually saying 'ina'"
WAHWAHWAHWAH
Oh; 4th WAH
I'm telling the priestess about the 4 WAHs

Ina’s work visa expired, so she can’t work while in Japan, and since her work is speaking on stream…
@@sus_gusthat explains it
Why can't she speak?

@judgegrumble Damn Nationality truly is a curse. Thank you for the explanation 👈🐙👈.
@@judgegrumbleVisa trouble, not VISA trouble (passporty issues, not credit card issues lol)
@@judgegrumblecan you explain more without breaching much? How does this all connected? (I have "slow engine" in regards to understanding things)
