A lost Maori culture person here, adopted by a British family, then moved out of NZ to the UK. Not great if I am honest as I do not like the British what so ever and now I am being called back spiritually to NZ to understand my culture and more importantly our special relationship with the Ancestors, e.g. the people who engineered man. I am well aware of them.
My question though to a Maori who may be seeing this, is I am looking to have a Gaffi Staff hand-made for me or find one that is for sale. I am aware it is seen in Star Wars and such, but this is not the reason why I would like one of these amazing staffs. The reason being is how beautiful they are, the workmanship and the heritage that comes with them. They also are made for us Maori to handle in a way others cant.
Can someone please advice me on where I may be able to get one hand-made for me or point me to where I may be able to purchase one please. Thank you and I hope all my brothers, aka Maori peoples and other tribal peoples around the World are well.

Chur to much to the pakeha fella embracing our Māori culture wish more of them weren’t arrogant and at lease tried to understand our culture.. if our people could learn to speak pakeha they should be able to learn to speak Māori but sadly that will never happen because nz is full of racist

Kind of wierd you say that because from my experience and alot of other peoples experience, more maori tend to want to keep their culture away from pakeha rather than share it.
Heres an example, i am approved pounamu artisan, gone through all the channels to get my approval, aquire my pounamu from the correct sources.
I respect the culture, love the culture, have learned the culture, im born and bred kiwi, and yet i have had maori people accuse me of stealing their culture because i carve pounamu, no pakeha has ever said i shouldnt carve, but maori have.
So while you say new zealand is racist because of pakeha, i say new zealand is equally as racist because of maori people too.
