That escalator thing is actually really dangerous. A worker died in Taipei many years ago carrying a ladder on an escalator in a subway station. That escalator thing is actually really dangerous. A worker died in Taipei many years ago carrying a ladder on an escalator in a subway station. He was there late at night alone, the ladder hit the roof and got stuck, it broke the foot track, and the guy fell into the machinery, they only found him in the morning. Terrible!
