I love that you made this video! Ever since I went to Legoland as I kid I have been super fascinated with animatronics especially those under water. I had so much fun there, but I was also terrified. I was never scared of the animatronics themselves, but I was scared of falling out of the boats and being crushed to death by all of the mechanics underneath that made the boat move lol.
1:34 is at Murray bridge, as my gran lives there I always get to visit the bunyip. At the moment it’s closed off because of the floods but one of the things I remember vividly was when there was an oil leak, the whole thing looked just like a shadow and the whole pool around it was scary.
i've always had the fear that if i go on a dark ride or smt including water that i would just get pulled in the water and see the scariest mechanics and just see the dark, take note im afraid of the dark.......YET I WANT TO GO ON A DARK RIDE-
I once had this bad dream where I was one a sort of dark ride thing, and I fell off the ride into water, and I had my eyes closed, and when I opened them, there was this big ass fuckin shark animatronic literally INCHES from me. Fucking woke up terrified
There were many animatronics I have never seen in this one. I've always found the disembodied whale tails to be a special form of creepy. Would've preferred a bit more musical variety but I can't complain; very enriching video overall and a nice reintroduction to the fear that set UA-cam on fire in 2020.

as a young kid there was a pond area near some restaurants where you could sit around and watch the ducks and turtles. i remember there used to be a huge alligator head in one part of the pond that would bubble and come up periodically. over time i realized it disappeared without any notice. since this was so early in my life i just never saw it again. i assume too many folks got scared it was real, but it makes me wonder if they removed that thing or its still sitting under the water, decaying.
I think two things. One is that imagine your in a pool and you dive underwater and you see one of these things. TWO imagine a ride similar to pirates of the caribbean but darker and has one of these things in there. terrifying but a lot of money made

They went on the ride again and one of the kids said “the shark is eating daddy!” And the dad then died and the boat flipped over and the kids drowned. Yes I read a Wikipedia page as I wrote this don’t judge me
its one of those things. i love animatronics. been trying to make some but because of how harsh water is on any animatronic. I just would never be able to make a underwater one n not be heartbroken at the fact the water would ultimately decay the robot should it ever be too heavy to move with water in it or outside it shall it ever break down. water ones just have a lot of wear n tear faster then other robots because robots and water least specifically animatronics do not mix. as for the sea serpant one with the human face. i think both those animatronics are the same anamatronics just over time its breaking down n needs repair very soon lest it dies like the one dinosaur did in disney parks but sat there unmaintained anyway
@@samfras09 They don't actually break down more than regular animatronics, it's just how park owners will find it harder to get maintenance people to repair them because they are in water.
Huh. Also, how did you find the animatronics for this video? Some of these (mostly the first few) look really creepy and I would like to do more research on them

Controlled fear, like going on a dark ride, can be fun. It's when you lose that control, like falling in, that it becomes TRULY scary
