Is chemE really worth it? I got a fully paid scholarship to study chemistry abroad but I'm thinking of turning it down to pursue chemE. should I do that?
I’m a Junior BioE major & I say go for it! Engineering will offer you better versatility when it comes to working in industry and research. For example, any Engineer be a Project Manager, however not any Chemist can be a Project Manager. It depends if you want to be the person in charge & “responsible” or not.
A bit late probably but as an chemE, you can see the differences as this: If you want to find theoretical solutions to chemical problems and explore the field of chemistry then go for chemistry but if you want to turn the theoretical solution to a pragmatical one then go for chemE
