For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhou Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went to the Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell", "Let It Go" and "Monsters". Last, but definitely not least (there is so much more from him), enjoy the videos, "This is Me" and a very unique and fun song (one of my favs) "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish". While Dimash is the best singer in the world, Zhou Shen replicates many of Dimash's qualities and even surpasses Dimash in some skills, such as number of languages and diversity of genres. While I will always love listening to Dimash, it is amazing to see the exposure that other marvelous singers, such as Zhou Shen, Marcelito Pomoy, Sohyang, and Morissette Amon are getting on the world stage.

Zhou Shen is singing the version by Elaine Paige who was the original singer of this song from Broadway 'Cat'. I think Elaine is still the best singer so far for this song. Welcome to Zhou Shen's family. Hopefully, in your future reaction videos on him, you can focus on his talents instead of labelling his vocal as a woman or man. To tell you a bit of his background. He got bullied a big-time when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now. He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to studied Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 10 different languages. He can even sing 6 different vocals in one song. His music has so many different genres. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Want to summarize in English what I previously posted in Chinese to facilitate understanding by overseas viewers that could not read/understand Chinese. In live chat with his fans, and later in interviews with newspapaers/magazines, Zhou Shen disclosed that in the Chinese part of his version of 《Memory》, he had changed/rewritten some of words/phrases from the original lyrics of the Chinese version of 《Memory》 , i.e. why people will not find those Chinese lyrics that he rewrote/changed in the authenic Chinese version of 《Memory》. In later interviews with newspapers/magazines, Zhou Shen opened up on his psychological journey of rewritting/changing those lyrics. He said he originally rewrote those lyrics from the perspective of Grizabella , but then in the process, he discovered Grizabella resembled himself. Many people later thought the lyrics he wrote was about himself. Zhou Shen admitted that he wrote those lyrics about Grizabella and himself as well as for others who seeked to be accepted and understood by peers/others. He said he cried everytime he sang this song《Memory》as he immersed/substituted himslef into Grizabella, who seeked to return to/accepted by her ethnical groups, but rejected. He said Grizabella's situation is very similar to the environment/circumstances that he grew up. It was about his voice; people nowadays might say he has a great voice, but in the past, majority thought it was weird.So he grew up always had this feeling of not being accpted. So he has been seeking for an opportunity to be accepted. All through his singing career since his debut, he found it much harder and both energy and time-consuming as compared to other peers in the industry; he thought that was why he needed an extra process/much longer time to be accepted by the general audience, and it was like Grizabella in the musical "Cats": she stretched out her hand, but not sure if her peers or anyone else would respond to her. A: 最后填的那段中文词,我是站在主角魅力猫的角度去写的，但后面写着写着反而发现越来越像我，所以很多人觉得我是在写自己。我的确是在写自己，但也是在写魅力猫。其实也不仅仅是我了，很多人在很多时候都需要别人的接纳或者理解。
