Manchester has become the only city in the UK where it's easy(ish) for young professionals to find a modern, 50m squared apartment as you expect in Madrid, Frankfurt, Seoul, Tokyo. We need this across the UK - more than Victorian factory workers houses or a sprawling suburban housing estates.
While Manchester is getting taller, which is very admirable, it however lacks the iconic towers that are easily identifiable...as you'd find with most other tall cities. I don't know whether this is because mostly the skyscrapers of Manchester are residential or other reasons...

Very good video. But the description misses out Wigan...which has the largest British population of the boroughs of Greater Manchester.
Wigan only has pies, Manchester is the largest area of greater Manchester
