京都橘高校の前身である、京都橘女子高校の教諭となり吹奏楽部を創設、同吹奏楽部を全国屈指のマーチングバンドに育て上げた平松久司先生が２０２１年３月１３日亡くなられました。 ご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。 Hisashi Hiramatsu, the predecessor of Kyoto Tachibana High School, who became a teacher at Kyoto Tachibana Girls' High School and founded the brass band club and raised this brass band club into one of the best marching bands in Japan, died on March 13, 2021. 平成から令和まで, crossing two eras. I tried to watch all the videos related to Kyoto Tachibana S.H.S. Band over last weekend, and soon I figured out there were plenty of videos available on UA-cam. Some people also utilized their professional equipment just like this loyal fan did to record many precious moments created by this outstanding band. These talented and diligent band members are lucky to have these videos to remember by throughout their lifetime, to recall a particular "Orange Era" belongs to them in youth years that is filled with their laughter, sweat, and tears.
They are great as always but when the flag girls put their flags down and just dance it blew me away, especially the one on the left side of the screen! Watching this band live is on my bucket list!

Thank you for taking the time to go out and video all these different performances and putting together this video for us watch and enjoy. Seeing these young ladies and gentlemen perform always puts a smile on my face and their big beautiful smiles always warms the heart. Tachibana is by far the greatest band in the world, their performances are always fun, entertaining, and full of energy. I know how it makes me feel to watch a video of them, I can't imagine how it must make people feel to actually watch them perform in person. Watching their performances over the years, it feels as though I've watched my own kids grow up and move on with their lives, and I wish to thank all the young ladies and gentlemen for all the time and effort they put in to bringing us these amazing performances time after time, and I wish all of you the very best in life. I know all of you will succeed in whatever it is you put your minds to. Their playing and performance is truly incredible..... their movements are so precise and flawless. For this reason the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Marching Band are in a league of their own. Not to sound mean or cruel, but I don't believe any marching bands can compare to the Tachibana Senior High School Marching Band. Even a train can not stop these girls/boys from picking up where they left off.... the band got separated due to a coming train and then the part of the band who got separated runs to join the rest of the marching band and fall in to step as if they weren't missing at all....truly awesome....only in Japan can make this happen....WOW! Tanaka-sensei deserves a great deal of credit for the outstanding achievements of Kyoto Tachibana. Unfortunately he is no longer a music teacher at the school. But you can see him in many videos, humbly walking next to the music band. His music selection was and is wonderful, a first class potpourri. Thank you Hiroyuki Tanaka for your wonderful work. Tanaka-san is HISTORY are far as KT SHS Band is concerned. Tanaka-san left in March 2018. 115th as seniors started in April 2018 when Tanaka-san was no longer there. 🦂Mi risulta che l'iscrizione alla Scuola Tachibana costa circa 11.000,00 €/anno, per cui i ragazzi che apprezziamo nei vari filmati di KTB sono figli di famiglie benestanti. Mi risulta anche che la Scuola Tachibana sia molto impegnativa e pesante (lo si vede da certi filmati riguardanti le prove che, a volte, si prolungano sino a tarda ora). Mi risulta anche che, ogni anno, per un posto nella Scuola ci sia una media di 10 domande. Non credo che queste circostanze si possano verificare in Europa o in altri stati del mondo. In Italia, per esempio, i figli di famiglie benestanti eviterebbero i sacrifici che fanno i ragazzi del Giappone, e credo che questo avvenga in tutta Europa. Quindi questi ragazzi giapponesi, che al massimo hanno 18 anni, sono da ammirare per tutto quello che fanno e che vediamo nei filmati. I would love to see like a 10-year reunion and see if the older band members recall all these music pieces and synchronized steps... they are all just perfect..I’m sure older band members that have graduated can only be proud of the experience they shared with each other while creating an everlasting legacy for the KTSHSB
Thank you very much for bringing us this video. I was never into marching bands but this band is different their performances are great after watching them perform I feel better. What an awesome compilation! Super! My favourite. I remember that occasion when half the band was separated at the railroad crossing, then they scrambled to rejoin as though nothing had happened.....didn't missed a beat. How can you not love the Tachibana High School Band!
There was a similar incident the previous year, at Fushimi Momoyama station, near the school, as the band emerged from Otesuji shopping street, only that time the two halves of the band kept playing! 正直これ程のパフォーマンスを目の前にして、純粋にパレードを楽しんでいる観客を全然見かけないのが残念です。
「本当は楽しんでるけど表に出さないのが日本人の気質だから」と片付けてしまえば済んでしまうのでしょうが、それはそれで悲しいですね😢
やっぱり2018年の東京での楽器フェアは神回ですね。全国に行けなかったけど、114～116期が一番好きです。

Tanaka-sensei deserves a great deal of credit for the outstanding achievements of Kyoto Tachibana. Unfortunately he is no longer a music teacher at the school. But you can see him in many videos, humbly walking next to the music band. His music selection was and is wonderful, a first class potpourri. Thank you Hiroyuki Tanaka for your wonderful work. You put a lot in the hearts of your students and made hundreds of thousands of people around the world happy with the music. Warm greetings from Germany.

Tanaka-san is HISTORY are far as KT SHS Band is concerned.
Tanaka-san left in March 2018. 115th as seniors started in April 2018 when Tanaka-san was no longer there. These videos with 115th DM "Okazel" and 116th DM “Palinpu” has nothing to do with Tanaka-san

🦂Mi risulta che l'iscrizione alla Scuola Tachibana costa circa 11.000,00 €/anno, per cui i ragazzi che apprezziamo nei vari filmati di KTB sono figli di famiglie benestanti. Mi risulta anche che la Scuola Tachibana sia molto impegnativa e pesante (lo si vede da certi filmati riguardanti le prove che, a volte, si prolungano sino a tarda ora). Mi risulta anche che, ogni anno, per un posto nella Scuola ci sia una media di 10 domande. Non credo che queste circostanze si possano verificare in Europa o in altri stati del mondo. In Italia, per esempio, i figli di famiglie benestanti eviterebbero i sacrifici che fanno i ragazzi del Giappone, e credo che questo avvenga in tutta Europa. Quindi questi ragazzi giapponesi, che al massimo hanno 18 anni, sono da ammirare per tutto quello che fanno e che vediamo nei filmati. Giappone ed Italia , dicono, essere i due paesi più belli al mondo, ma il popolo del Sol Levante è unico e, se fosse possibile, da imitare. Grande KTB. Saluti da Giuseppe Corazzari - Italia

I have watched Videos of this band many times now and every time I ask myself the same question "How on earth do they do it?". They are wonderful.
i spend 2 1/2 hrs to watch some of your performance ......i diagnose my self .....and i was a fanatic of your band... Keep it up and more power..

I would love to see like a 10-year reunion and see if the older band members recall all these music pieces and synchronized steps... they are all just perfect..I’m sure older band members that have graduated can only be proud of the experience they shared with each other while creating an everlasting legacy for the KTSHSB

Thank you very much for bringing us this video. I was never into marching bands but this band is different their performances are great after watching them perform I feel better. What an awesome compilation! Super! My favourite. I remember that occasion when half the band was separated at the railroad crossing, then they scrambled to rejoin as though nothing had happened.....didn't missed a beat. How can you not love the Tachibana High School Band!
Split starting ar 12:24. They only stopped playing because they were told too (shown in another video of same parade).
There was a similar incident the previous year, at Fushimi Momoyama station, near the school, as the band emerged from Otesuji shopping street, only that time the two halves of the band kept playing! 今年、私が行った最後の演奏会は2020,2/8保育フェスタで最高のパフォーマンスを見させて頂きました、演奏会の大小に関わらず決して手を抜かない 京都橘高校吹奏楽部さんは流石ですね。

ウイルスのおかげで演奏は全て中止になるし仕事は忙しくなるしで泣きっ面に蜂ですが、次の演奏が聴けるまでなんとか頑張ります。

感染症の影響で娘の結婚式も秋に延期しました。
毎年、夏から秋にかけて色々なイベントが沢山あるのでそれまでに終息する事を祈ってます。 もう~撮影機材の操作忘れかけてます (´；ω；`)
またOrange Devils Fanさん、仕事がら人との関わりが多いと思いますが無くてはいけない仕事だと思いますので感染症対策を万全にしてお体を大切に頑張ってくださいね。
４月から希望していなかった部署へ異動となりましたが、企画していろいろできるので感染症が収まったら地元の吹奏楽部とコラボして演奏会をしようと考えてます。
異動されていたんですね、最初は大変でしょうけど再び地域を活性できる日が来る事を願ってます。
こんなことになるなら私も保育フェスタ行っておけばよかったと後悔してます。
今のところ、１月のフィールドアートだけです。

彼女達の演奏を見る度にプレッシャーに負けずに頑張っているなあと感心しています。だって、失敗できないというプレッシャーは全員が抱えていると思うんだよね。演奏を終えてプレッシャーから解放された姿を見たことあるけど、本当に心が締め付けられそうになる。みんな笑顔で演奏してるから余計に感じます。

在校生だけだとこんな感じなのでしょうか。あのローズパレードの400人近い大軍団は卒業生をかき集めたものなのでしょうか。凄いですね。橘高校を真似したい他国のグループさんも今から10年かかりそうだとなったら躊躇いますよね。国家事業でやれば別でしょうが、なんか大変なことになりそうですね。この動画色々なユニフォーム姿が楽しめるのもいいですね。

I do love the amount of professionalism of these kids when they have to stop for the train, run to catch up and they just jump right into the music and choreography like nothing happened. I love watching these videos

我覺得他們的電腦很強大，在呈現設計好的變換對行走位時，同時可以分離出每個點在隊形變化時的路線軌跡圖。
