Wow, Lincoln does have a lot of freight traffic going through that is for sure. Almost forgotten on how busy it can be. Great footage fully enjoyable to watch :-)
Great stuff - the amount of container traffic going through Lincoln is amazing and will no doubt increase. Two questions what percentage of container traffic goes via the ECML as opposed to via Lincoln and Sleaford ? Can Clarborough Tunnel (just east of Retford) accomodate containers - I don't think it can ?
Lincoln is a lot better than it used to be I remember the days where there was hardly any freight. I counted on a weekday between Midnight and Midnight on a Thursday at Retford there was only 5 container freight workings as with Lincoln there was 27 workings but that may increase like you mention. Clarborough tunnel im not so sure either not much goes that way if any freights at all.
