Got the G30 last week to replace my years old Deebot that sounds like a whining jet clumsily bumping into everything and massive by comparison. Love it. Considering to buy another to accompany the other, but not sure if that makes sense. My main floor is 2300 sqft of wood floor and I’m thinking if I zone off one from each other, it’ll get the work down faster but less likely missing any areas in one run, so one does not having the burden of whole home vacuuming.
The review is a bit misleading. I thought the 30C is better and faster. But turns out the smart navigation 2.0 gets a lot quicker after a couple of uses. So if you keep the charging base at the same place, the g30 edge will get quicker and more efficient. My 1 hour clean time went down to 40 minutes after 2 uses
@@OrangeUp Don't understand when people say things like that either when bots like the G30 can't store any onboard maps for navigation after each use. Maps generated are only for the users' benefit not the bots after cleaning.

The map navigate is soo much better than the random bump cleaning. Who cares if it takes 10 more minutes. Most people are getting this to clean dust or pet hair while at work or not home.
The G30 for a dumb robot is best in class at navigation. That optical eye on the bottom with eufys programming makes all the difference. Even the Bagotte bg800 with optical eye doesn't touch this.
Hey with the g30 edge can it save multiple maps of the house? I usually pick my robot vacuum up and leave it in each individual room for a certain amount of time rather then leaving all doors open in the house and letting it roam around. Or does it just save 1 big map of the entire house?
It makes a map but doesn't store that information for itself for another cleaning. The map is for its own benefit while cleaning and yours to see where it has been. Interrupt its cleaning session and it loses its map while cleaning.

Maybe your battery goes out. The gyro robot does not learn anything. It generates a new map every time.
