Thanks for sharing, It's great to see how you did it to avoid making mistakes when I do it myself. My funds at the moment are going towards Pre heresy marines but towards autumn I'm definitely going to get one of these for my IG.
Awesome awesome awesome guide, was nervous paralyzed to try and build a baneblade because I didn't know what to glue and what to pin and what to magnetize so I could swap parts and get my money's worth, I know this was made five years ago but you're still helping fellow hobbiers out
Loctite is a really good glue and is very affordable. I know over here in the states many gamers used it over the gw glue to get those old metal models to hold fast. I use it on gw finecast and it works with no problem.
Cool model bud. I hope you will do a build log when you paint it. Personally, I find it difficult to paint a model when it's fully assembled so when talented mates like you do vids covering it, it helps guys like me a great deal. Thanks also for the tip on the glue. It is VERY frustrating using some super glues. I have not yet tried the locktite but will be doing so on my next build. Cheers, and good luck on the smurfs!
Nice Job! I build my first baneblade since yesterday, if that is fully painted i want to build a stormlord and will magnetize it to so i got more Options. Thank u very much for your instruction how i could do that. U doing a great Job, Keep it going!
ott with the tiny mags imo, i would have just used pins and pegged them into the side, when painted up you would never notice the tiny holes the stubbers would peg into, but that just me! great job bud :)
Great vid and that is one massive model...looling forward to updates on your progress with it...the magnetization is great...best of luck on selling that awesome army on ebay...it really deserves a good bid...believe if had the extra resources, someone would have to over bid me...Jim.

Good to know about the Loctite Super Glue. Excellent build, I like how you can swap parts out to get more flexibility out of the vehicle.
Glad to see you took the plunge and made the hexblade :) Those gas tanks look puny though!

Great engineering work on the magnetization and the "not-"magnetization and thanks for the advice on superglue

Excellent work on the magnets buddy! That is going to be epic too. What colors will it be?
