My mom’s visa is expiring in September 2024. She is in Australia now. Is it possible to extend visa for 6 months more?
My 600 visa expires in June 2023 and I have just been diagnosed with cancer. I have a letter from the hospital stating that they would like to carry out the treatment here a.s.a.p. but it would require and extension of several months. Is this possible?
Sorry to hear your diagnosis. It should not be a problem to extend your visa. You also have the option to apply for the subclass 602 (medical treatment visa). immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/medical-treatment-602
Please help me. I want to retrieve my Subclass 600 Australian Visa on 2015 because i already lost it. I need it for my new visa application. Thanks
Hi Pogi, please see my reply on this video ua-cam.com/video/4xmslLtERnE/v-deo.html
if we don’t have bank account or enough money so can we show our husbands bank statement or pay slip because he lives in Australia and have a job here and he will support me financially in Australia
Hi. My mother has a visitor visa 600 of 6 months in Australia . Now we want to extend her visa for another 6 months, she has been in Australia for 5 months now. In her visa there is a 8503, can we extend visa for her? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.
Hi Nhan, the 8503 condition needs to be waived before another visa can be lodged from onshore.
Hi my mother has 600 visa, her visa expires in july 2023. She obtained her visa to visit my brother upon him completing his first home. Unfortunately she didnt travel since his first home is not yet started the process to build. It seems like taking another one year. Mean time could she have her visa extended to another one year without a charge?
Hello, once a visa is granted it cannot be changed/amended in any way. If she cannot arrive before the 'must not arrive after date', she will need to apply for a new visa unfortunately.
hi, me n my family of 4 members are here in australia on visitor visa which is valid for 3 years and can do multiple entries in this period for about 270days , however we got to know this stay has to be done in 3 months period each , while 3 of us are returning back in 40 days but my mother in law is over staying for 10 days it was a mistake from our end to understand the visa details will dat be a problem if she does as we still have valid visa till 2025
Hi Divs, from what I understand from your question, if you are granted 3 months on each arrival you will need to depart before the 3 months or apply for an onshore extension. If the mother-in-law overstays it will definitely be a problem as she will become unlawful. I’m a US citizen, so is it possible that I can go to 601 ETA and after 3 months i apply this tourist stream visa because i want to live longer then 3 months because my husband lives in Australia on Graduating Visa and I want to be there with him.
Hi Khazira, yes you can go from an ETA601 to a subclass 600 from onshore.
Is there’s any visa that can i stay longer than 2 3 years because my husband lives their he’s on graduating visa.
@@khizraiftikhar16 You can extend your visitor status from 601 to 600 from onshore for another 3-9months max. (12 months is the max you can stay as a visitor if approved). Your best option is to be added as a dependent on your husbands graduate visa once onshore.
Do you have any sample letters for requesting visit visa extension
You don't need to write a separate letter, the reason for extension is one of the first few questions on the application, you can explain the reason there.
Thank you so much
I am from srilanka and my mom got the visa on last April, after 3 month’s she leave the country and she come back on last mid of July, now I planning to apply onshore extension, but I have little scared to apply that one, main reason is I have a baby with 2 years, I am going to mentioned my mom going to look after my son and I am going to request for another 7 months, is it ok for that reason or want to give some other reason, if you know please give a advice for me
@@Wikalanga grandparents of Australian PR or citizens can get extension to look after the grandkids. You may or may not get the full 7 months, its for the case officer to decide but it is a common reason.
Cant barely hear you
Agree.
Hi, can we apply visitor visa extension more than once?
