Your co-religionists "justify killing innocent people in the name of God ..." Dr Sondy, because it's mandated by the Quran, which describes unbelievers as "the vilest of all creatures created" (sura 8.55). The same book also forbids taking unbelievers as friends (sura 5.51, 3.28 et al). These things are not mandated by the Bible.
