I like hellar legends rasp The kippers are an Italian brand called ICAR The knife is a Kforge All top of the line tools I haven’t noticed much difference from company to company on the top end they are all good . There are some mid price range tools like Mustad and Diamond that work well too The best hands in the world can’t do good work with cheep tools so if they have rubber coated handles don’t waist your money Also those Indian knock offs that look like GE tools that you can buy the whole set for less than the price of a nipper will not work
Great video. My Ferrier recently told me that once the hairline and bulbs are distorted they will be like that for the life of the horse no matter how you trim it. Do you agree with this? Is it possible to get the hairline and bulbs back to normal? Thank you
Yes with proper trimming balance can be restored. The foot will reshape and reform under load we can unload the part of the foot that is distorted and it will usually settle back to the best possible support for that particular limb
Good trim. Nice to see you left the pillar of support at the front of the hoof
Great video. Very informative.
Thank you
Thank you for sharing 🌺
Would you mind sharing some details on the tools you use?
