Honestly if you look at it from 2pac's side it really gives Pac more reason to feel how he felt. You have to remember sure Snoop just got off a murder case, but nobody was asking him to be vocal about the beef situation, also it wasn't only Pac vs Big because Big got Snoop and the whole DPG shot at in New York and 2pac took that up for him so what does it really make snoop look like going behind 2pac's back to go hang and make peace with the people who almost got him killed.

It seems Snoop didn't understand Pac actually, because if u listen to Tupac you would know that the only reason he was riding on Biggie was because Biggie didn't give no support to him after he got shot... He started distancing himself, his homeboy Stretch started hanging out with Biggie's crew and they didn't give no respect to Tupac, who got shot, even though both of these cowards could have prevented it. He could have let Biggie get a pass but that would make him a trick, if he letting this guy get away and make money and act like he's the biggest gangster out there, even tho he let Pac get wronged the way he did, that would mean he gotta be on his malice, and act like its all good, even tho it ain't!!!

Let me explain this beef fully. 2Pac was pissed off at Snoop because they had a rehearsal to do to perform together and Snoop said he would go. Pac waited for him along with Ice T but he never showed up. Snoop was contacted and said he dont want o go, So now Pac was done with snoop for lying. In the MTV awards you can clearly see Snoop holding the Mic not saying shit cause any moment Pac would have blew on him. After that Snoop said to Angie, Biggie and Puff were his homies. That was it. I feel like Pac was a threat to them because he was powerful with his words and passion for his music and the message he was trying to make us realize we was slowly opening up to wat he was trying to tell us the black community eyes started opening and realizing wat was really going on with the government and those that was in the with the law didn't like him because they was losing control over a community they were thriving off of so wat better way to try and take down a threat then to come at him through the media or try and scare him and they see that that didn't work so they kept putting him in jail to try and break him but that only made him stronger and not only that but he had the spirit of light and he deeply wanted to help his people and ik at a young age with that much knowledge being a black man in a industry that's full of snakes it can be hard to portray that without them trying to break u down to their level or keep u to where u can be controlled but Pac wasn't easy to manipulate

There was probably some tension building with a lot of west coast guys and tupac.
Tupac accused Cube, WC, and Mack 10 of dick ridin on Tupacs war with NY sayin, "Why werent they makin them fools "Bow Down" when I was in jail.
In truth, Westside Connection made Westside Slaughterhouse long before Tupac made Hit Em Up.
Plus guys like Daz, Too Short, E-40, Snoop, WC, Mack-10, Eazy-E, were born and raised in California and had gangbanged in California. Tupac was from New York and was in performing arts school during that time. Then Tupac moves to Oakland, and suddenly he's the spokesperson for the entire West Coast. I can see a lot of people resenting the fact that he was the face of the westcoast when he wasnt even from there and waging a war against NY and pulling california rappers along for the ride.
In reality, it wasnt much more than a suge knight/puffy combs war.
I wouldnt call tupac a studio gangsta like dre because tupac did have balls and he wasnt scared of getting his hands dirty or living the "thug life." But he wasn't a gangsta before he got to Death Row.

      @StuUngar 10 років тому +2

Makaveli SD Tupac wasn't a G until he hooked up with Suge Knight. He was a real dude and he wasn't afraid of anyone. But it's not like he was hustling or pimping or into the street life. Dude was taking acting classes in performing arts centers in Baltimore. He came out west and was doin the Humpty Dance. I'm not taking anything away from Tupac's talent and I'm not saying Tupac wasn't a real dude. He just wasn't an LA/Oakland/Compton/Watts gangsta until he started hanging around with Suge Knight.
It was just so crazy that a dude from New York became the face of the west coast. Much more than the guys who lived there and came from the streets of California.
If anything, Eazy-E was the real deal and the real icon of the west coast.

StuUngar Too $hort and E-40 shouldn't be on that list tho they were never "gang bangers" especially $hort. The Bay Area don't have no crips and bloods just turf gangs and Nortenos (which wear red). Its common knowledge the 40 was once a dope dealer but $hort aint sell no dope or gang bang and he mentions this many times how in high school the local homies wouldn't front him a sack to sell cuz they wanted him to stay focused on his music. But everybody else was gangbangers and affiliates lol

StuUngar The reason 2pac wasn't acting like he was acting in Death Row is because he was a one-man-crew and the dudes that shot 'em run New York as far as the gangbangers. Check Against All Odds where he speaks about the dude Jimmy Henchmen who set him up and in the end Pac says:
/ "You said don't go to war unless I got my money behind me
Aight, I got my money right here, now I want war" /

Pac wasn't hood. He went to school of fine arts. He was an actor. Came out west and got turnt out. Now he's gone and snoop is living like a boss for real.

No arguments but you calling Pac a fake thug is kind of funny. I mean Pac went thru way more than you ever did I'm sure... He did time in the county a lot, even tho it was probably a week or weeks at a time... He was in and out of court... Was taking bullets... Did like 10 months in St. quinton and not on PC he wanted to be with population... Shot 2 off duty cops, like cmon. Nothing to glorify but the man wasn't fake just confused and lost.

I did not consciously think I will check out some gangster rap. In hindsight, they were great lyricists.
But it was kind of gangster. There was a lot of talk about gangs, guns, drugs, violence and such.

The whole East Coast, West Coast BS was just that. Pac was jealous cuz he lost his spot (END OF discussion) he got robbed because he had already lost the respect of his City and was caught Slippin simple as that .... And instead of him taking his L he wants to whining and blaming anybody like a little girl. And just by listening to this interview Snoop was able to recognize bulshit and let Tupac have his tantrum. It's funny how the ones who are alive with family and grandchildren can look at the situation years later and know it was juvenile .... And no time did Biggie ever go at him so how do you beef with yourself???? Pac didn't have anything to lose but biggie was a family man and two kids who grew up without a father over jealousy...

It seems you're misunderstanding Tupac position. He never knew his father. His father figure was a political prisoner from the Black Panthers. His mother won a conspiracy case by representing herself while pregnant with him. He grew up poor and homeless during points of time in his life. Then he started coming up when he moved to the Bay. he was a credible M.C. and dancer in the early 90s..Back then that's all it took to "make it". I'm not gonna say no more cuz it's alot..but, the way you come off speaking on Tupac like he deserved to get robbed and all dat other shit don't sound right. But do what you do dawg...it aint my call...

A major factor in this is that in the Sept 4 MTV award int, Pac was talking about the beef while Snoop was sittin right next to him, and Pac kept sayin WE this and WE that,,so its not surprising that later that evening Snoop gave a radio int sayin he didn't have problems with anybody Pac was talkin about,,and I heard, and believe, that Pac confronted Suge about it that night when he heard about it and went off on Suge and told him he was done with Death Row if that's how shit was gonna be

She only recently put out clips of audio from that interview a few years ago & this clip wasn't one of em. So the question I have is *HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET ANOTHER PART OF THE INTERVIEW*? 🤣🤣 cuz looking at the date this was put out 12 years ago, long long long before she recently released a few clips of audio from that unreleased interview.

Tupac underestimated his enemies, he could rap and throw words at all his opponents but he did'nt have the sense enough to know that after you do that you start watching your back and everyone around you. he should've cooled off for a while, no human being is bigger nor more bad for anybody. Our bodies are delicate and is make up of pure flesh and blood easily bruised. Mere words can make you feel like a king but at the end of the day its pure hot air.

I do believe everything Pac says in his interviews, I don't think he would lie,,,and you are right I was incorrect about Stretch having a gun, I realized it while reading an interview after commenting, Pac did say about how Stretch could have grabbed them, just like u said it,,,I just figured Stretch was strapped,,///but I do think Stretch knew,,him n Biggie was homeboys, he was the mutual friend that connected Pac and Big
